We stayed at the Sheraton hotel Boston for 4 nights. This hotel is massive as it in joined through a walkway to the Hyndes conference centre and a shopping mall. Rooms very spacious and clean and we had a fantastic view of Boston city. Staff were so friendly and really helpful. There is a starbucks in the lobby and on the morning we were leaving(easter sunday 2013) the reception area had free tea & coffee and pastries for the guests to help themselves which was a lovely touch. The only downside is this hotel is 15-20 minute walk to the main town and shops.

Great location. Hotel served its purpose.
Ok - so the positives - clean, spacious, has a Starbucks in the foyer and in a fantastic location near the Prudential Centre. The staff were very courteous and helpful. If I was to be picky, then it lacks a little character but it really wasn't an issue. All in all - it was perfect for our needs. We were visiting for a long weekend shopping and spent most of the time outside of the hotel - as you should do when visiting such a fantastic city. Happy to recommend it.

ANOTHER GREAT VISIT AT THE SHERATON BOSTON!!!
Another great visit at the Sheraton Boston! We have been there twice in the past few weeks! April 11th we were there for our 15th Anniversary! Upon check in we were greeted with a smiling sweet young lady! She was thrilled to find out we were celebrating our anniversary! We told her we were going to the Red Sox game. Upon our return from the ballpark, propped on our TV stand in our AWESOME ROOM, was a red sox helmet and good ole Wally! I screeched with joy when I saw it! Back last night (May 6th) for both business and pleasure and from check in to check out our stay as usual, TOP NOTCH! Thank you Sheraton Boston for our home away from home! See ya in a few weeks!!! BOSTON STRONG!

Interesting how rooms are assigned.
I was recently at the Sheraton for a conference. As a previous commenter stated, The elevators were awful. I think only three of six were working and the main board in the lobby to tell you which floor each one was on did not work at all. I was on floor sixteen and after 20 minutes and three full elevators passed by I walked down to the lobby. I travelled with two co-workers and we all registered at the same time and all paid the same room rate. As I stated, I was on floor 16 and they were both on 9. When we arrived at the first room , it was really nice with a queen bed, a pull out sofa, a chair a refrigerator, and separate desk area. The second room was in the corner and very similar to the first room only with a larger bathroom. When I got to the 16th floor room, it was a standard room with one chair and a small bathroom. I guess the view was supposed to make up the difference. The hotel was in a good area with lots of places to eat and have cocktails. It was pretty close to the rail system as well. All in all it was a pretty good stay.

Good Location, Adequate Hotel
I stayed at the Sheraton for a recent business trip. The location is good, adjacent to the Prudential Center and within easy walking distance of many locations in downtown Boston. The hotel itself is merely adequate. Rooms are starting to show their age. The drain in the bathroom sink was extremely slow. The room lacked a minibar. There seemed to be many other hotel alternatives near the Sheraton, and on my next visit to Boston I intend to try another hotel
