Last minute change to here but not disappointed
Our booking agent called on our way to the airport to say the due to a "system error" there were no rooms available at the Roc Lago Roja which we had booked, they wanted to move us to the Puente Real but after much to and froing the booked us into the Royal A-Andalus.Check in was quick, room on 5th floor was very spacious with fab views of the pool and the Med. Location was great, just cross the road and downstairs at O'Brians and there are great restaurants with the beach just beyond.Meals were buffet style but only popped in once for lunch and once for dinner as we prefer to eat out. Choice fairly good and topped up often but this just isn't our way to enjoy a meal. Breakfast which we ate every day was fine.

Our Stay 18th March - 15th April Very nice but,
This is a nice Hotel. Large clean rooms ,great staff .lovely pool & gardens, 5 mins from the beach, with bus stops right outside.these are the good points, During the winter months this is not a holiday hotel ,but a hostel for short stay students from all over the world, they come in coaches for 1 or 2 nights . the problem with this is that the food in the resturant was aimed at teenagers , and of very poor quality .We were there on a All inclusive board,The breakfast was ok , the lunch & evening meals were probibly the poorest quality food we have encountered in our 40 years of holidaying in the winter months. This is the only reason we would not return to this very nice Hotel.

Won't go again!!
This was my 1st holiday abroad with my children in a long time and we were all excited. The Hotel itself was lovely and the chaimbermaids were brilliant. It was just 5 minutes from the beach. The rest of the holiday was awful. There was a couple of staff who were very rude. We were all inclusive and got there at 10pm and was told there was no food and so we had to go out to an area we didn't know to find a restaurants that was open. We had bked 2 rooms as there was our 4 older children in 1 room and the rest of us in another and were put in rooms at the complete opposite ends of the hotel. The pool bar was shut. There was only 3 evenings of 10 minute entertainment put on for children in the 10 days we were there. In fact, there was very little entertainment for all. There was only food at meal times. We had to go out of the resort to get an ice-cream! The food was awful. Apart from salad, you could barely make up a proper hot meal from the choice they put on.Most of the people we spoke to felt the same and they too had been transferred from the Royal Costa. In my opinion, they decided to take us on board after the Costa was unable to open and so they should of been prepared to put on entetainment for all every evening, snacks all day such as icecream and the pool bar being open. Will definately not visit this hotel again and not recomend it.

Lovely Hotel
Had a great stay in the Royal Al - Andalus over easter, Our room was a good size,on the 6th floor, overlooking the pool and sea.What a view !We Stayed bed and breakfast and must say the standard and choice of food was exceptional.Didnt really stay for night time entertainment so cannot comment on that,pool and garden area beautifully done.hotel is situated in an excellent position 5 minutes from carihuela beach and 10 from Torremolinos town center. Overall a lovely hotel.
