Room looked just like the pics but a little dated. Right next to train and bus (local and regional) station-- the #1bus goes straight from/to the airport for less than ¿¿¿5 and is the 4th or 5th stop 10-15m. Walking distance to the old city and the Soller train. In room wifi worked well. Restaurant a little pricey and somewhat limited but very good. Biggest complaints are extremely hard bed, terrible pillows, and scratchy -- OLD AND CHEAP -- linens. Minor "problems" sure, but for the price and clientele they cater to, should offer better linens.

Excellent Overall Experience
This hotel is fantastic! Stayed there to have space and relax -- never could have been happier! The staff is always available and helpful, breakfast is laden with fresh fruit, location ideal (skip the lame marina views or beach for that matter); a GREAT value. You will not find larger rooms for the price, nowhere. HIGHLY recommended! Have business in Palma, this is the spot.

Nice business hotel
NIce hotel, nice room, modern and perfect location if you have business in lots of the areas. Close to Parc Bit/ Polygons and also to Paseo Maritimo. Overall I would definitely stay there for business again. Not a family hotel though, far from the beach.

"A perfect choice"- Karin & Kim
My daughter and I stayed at Palacio Avenida for two nights. It has an excellent location, perfectfor buses to and from the airport, as well as a train to the wine farm and a train to Puerto de Soller. The staff were always helpful and the rooms were clean and modern. It was close to the beautiful Cathederal and the hop on hop off bus station.

I like this place
My wife and I stayed here for our wedding night, and we were impressed.The hotel is modern and spotless, and is in an excellent location. The rooms are brand-new and well equipped, and the bed is huge and very comfortable. Not a cheap hotel by any means, but you get what you pay for, and this was one of the better 4 star hotels I've stayed at (strangely in contrast to UR Hotels' sister hotel, down the road at UR Mision San Miguel, which is disgracefully bad).My only quibbles is that they ran out of hot water when I went to use the bath; and the fellow running the (expensive) breakfast bar needs to watch his manners. The breakfast bar range is a bit Spartan, but really isn't bad at all.
