Great clean business style hotel
This hotel is great but loses points because we usually stay at the Mediterranean plaza eurostars. It's weird because it wins on style, good nights sleep, gym facilities (sauna very good) great location to the city and public transport- BUT it loses out character and because we prefer the other hotel which has a roof terrace and view of the old square. So I would definitely recommend it- and our stay was a 100 euros cheaper, but next time we will stay at the eurostars in the old town.

Great value for your moneys!
This hotel has a good location and it was inexpensive comparing to big cities (well, Alicante is a small place but still!), it was clean and quit (though you cold smell the tobacco on corridor) and staff was helpful. Breakfast is good Spanish breakfast which means some lack of fruits and especially vegetables and salads. Maybe this review change the situation? Please check the spa at rooftop before paying for it, some how resembled a warehouse to me. Anyway I can really recommend this place!

excellent from start to finish
Only here for 3 nights but had a room on the 10th floor which had a sea view to the side so an unexpected bonus. clean, comfortable and modern rooom and reception staff friendly and helpful.Location good, 10 minute walk down to seafront and 5 mins to local bars and restaurants. Tram stop (Mercado) oppositte which was handy coming back from a day trip to Benidorm.Bus stop across the road goes to the airport so not worth getting a taxi unless you have lots of luggage.Only had breakfast one morning as it was nice to get out and try nearby places and it was pretty good with a wide choice and nothing needed topping up which is often the case with large hotel breakfast buffets.Strange music playing in the corridoes during the day, not sure what that's about but it wasn't loud enough to be a nuisance.Got a good deal with BA holidays, BA flights included so very good value for money. OK so it doesn't have a pool or a bar (there is a gym and sauna) but for what we paid that didn't matter at all.

Perfect Location for city break
Went to Alicante for a four day break with my lifelong friend, she flew from Luton, I flew from Edinburgh and we met up. We booked this hotel directly with them online, we had a junior suite which was perfect for us. Our trip was really just to spend quality time, the location of the hotel couldnt have been better, we were easily able to access the city and find our way back. Unfortunately the combination on my padlock decided not to open, I asked at reception for help, a young man said he would try to open it (cut it off, which was fine), he then said he would need to get a friend to help, he would let me know when my bag was opened, 40 minutes later I got a call in the room to say it was open, I was happy and wanted to tip the young man in question, however, I was presented with a bill for 30 euro's, at first I was a little speechless, it would have been manners for him to have told me this is what it would cost before proceeding. I didnt feel there was too much point in complaining, the job was done and I had access to my case but it did leave a bitter taste. Room was spotless, towels changed daily and beds changed during our visit, we didnt visit the spa or gym. Breakfast was ok with a adequate choice of cheese, meats, cereal, breads, freshly squeezed juice (absolute bonus and a real thumbs up from me for that one!), the coffee machine required a master's degree to operate and a jug of cold water to bathe any scalds you may received, far too hot, it burns the coffee yuk. We didnt find the reception staff too helpful when trying to gain information on trams, buses etc, one told us she hadnt used the bus before so didnt really know. We would stay here again, it gave us what we were looking for at an affordable price for a four day girlie break. We did have a kettle in our room, however no cups, but we had bought those with us as we knew there were no tea/coffee making facilities. Water from the mini bar in room was free to use and was replenished twice during our stay. Lots of little local supermarkets in the area where you can pick up snacks, water etc. We didnt eat dinner at hotel, in fact, not really sure where you would obtain dinner there was a coffee/bar available during the evening however we saw no evidence of that bein open except on our last evening when we were returning from dinner out.

A lovely hotel
What a great location, and nearby underground car parking made it easy, once the one way system was navigated! A really central hotel that I booked purely on the advice of Trip Advisor ...rooms were spotless, the breakfast was excellent, staff friendly and the towels changed everyday.The only little niggle was that there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room.
