A very professional hotel
Arrived saturday afternoon and breezed through the check in, rooms were clean & spacious for an inner city hotel and made a very good 1st impression. The hotel it self is a 5 to 10 mins walk from the train station but seems a little out of the way and if novotel management could get some sign posts from the train station that would be a great help, its hard to knock anything at this hotel as all the staff we met were friendly and good at their jobs. The breakfast was a help yourself type breakfast that was very nice (especially the sausages). The bed was comfortable and I heard no noise through the night, The hotel has a quiet bar which was handy for us at the end of the night. Overall I was very pleased with our choice of hotel, we are going to York later in the year and on returning home I tried to book us in to the novotel in York but sorry to say it was fully booked obviously the chains reputation goes before them. Would I recommend this hotel yes of course we had an excellent night in a very professional hotel.

Good clean room let down by service and food
I have probably stayed here over 100 times in the past two years. The rooms are good with comfortable beds, showers are nice and strong and plenty of room. Upgrading to the 'executive' room is not worthwhile for the same room but with espresso coffee machine. The two main reasons I have dropped this to a 3 star relate primarily to the restaurant and secondly to the fact that in all the times I have been here the staff have never used my name or acknowledged the fact that I am here every week. Starting with the restaurant the food is largely bland and I have often had to send food back. Things that stick in the memory are soggy squid, tuff steak and rubbery fish. Having said that I do particularly enjoy their chicken salad, crispy lettuce and warm grilled chicken.I go back purely for the comfortable bed and good clean room that is better than other hotels in the area.

Good service
I have stayed at the Novotel Wolverhampton over the last couple of years ,check in is always efficient and the welcome warm. the rooms are comfortable and always clean.The breakfast is very good but a bit expensive at ¿¿13 95.the staff are all very friendly and provide excellent service.

good hotel
lovely hotel,friendly staff very nice room,would stay there again,no problems checking in or out,the only downside is it's a little worrying walking back from the city at night streets surrounding a little lonely but apart from that no complaints at all
