Clean hotel with friendly staff!
Had a good couple nights stay at this hotel. Members of Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bedroom was clean and well maintained. Room was very quite so had a great night's sleep. It was everything I needed for my trip.

Great value
Cant beat this place for value and convenience. Nice rooms, nice breakfast, cosy bedrooms. Couple of minutes of main motorway and plenty of parking in a safe area. Hard to find any faults at all and stayed here before and sure i will be using again in the future.

Soulless & Depressing
I stayed for one night to cut down on the daily journey back up north on the M6. I hate the M6 but it is infinitely better then having to spend another night in this place. No great facilities to speak of and it is right next to J10 of the M6. Fortunately the room was soundproofed enough to drown the noise out. Facilities wise, there was a bed and a TV with very limited channel numbers. There was a rail to hang clothes on too. The coffee making corner had the usual horrible selection of those paper tubes of Nescafe. WiFi had to be paid for and it wasn't cheap either, just as well it worked in my work laptop as well as my iPad.Overall I would not like to return.

Pleasant stay
Stayed one night on a very good rate. Overall a pleasant stay. Spacious room, clean & comfortable. The holiday itself and the room decor seem fairly new, but the TV is an old-fashioned bulky model (with very few channels). This didn't bother me much, but just a little odd looking in that room. The free breakfast was basic and okay. My satnav map is a bit outdated and struggled to find the place. Plenty of free parking.One complaint was that the drainage of the shower was a bit slow. Water collected a bit while showering.

A great little stay
I like Holiday Inn Express, they do exactly what you expect, I stayed for a Friday evening and had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were very welcoming and on the ball, the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Although I did not eat there Friday , I used the bar in the evening for a night cap and enjoyed my breakfast the following morning. Thanks for an enjoyable stay, yes its a chain but some chains do things better than others and the Holiday Inn get it right for me all the time.
