English legacy
Charming hotel in the old buildings of Stratford-upon-Avon, rooms are available both in the old and new section. We stayed in the old part of the building, the standard in these rooms was a medium experience. The rooms are indeed cosy (or romantic if you like), but it was low to the sealing making it a bit tricky for people like myself (1.88 m) to example have a shower where you only had 1.5 m to the sealing ;) anyway we slept very well, the beds where really soft and comfortable. More disappointing was probably the breakfast.. It was not that much the food, but it was more or less chaos in the dining area, it appeared that no one had time to clear the tables which did no only prevent people for having breakfast, but also looked a bit nasty.. Compared to other hotels we have stayed in this was fair, but it definitely had som flaws in the service part... If I would go back, it would be because of the building - classics from the beginning of the 1600th

Convenient
We stayed for two nights and found the accommodation adequate. Was disappointed to be given a room overlooking the car park as I'd read about all the lovely old fashioned ones. The hotel is a few minutes from everywhere and there's free parking which made our stay hassle free. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room whilst nothing special was clean and tidy. I would recommend as stay if just looking for a place to lay your head after a busy day sightseeing

Has it all for Stratford Upon Avon
From arrival,well mannered receptionist explaining attractions,options for dinner,breakfast,car parking and where everything was in hotel, great start.We asked for room in old part,good choice with Beams,Crooked Walls authentic too,tea / coffee making lots !!.Ensuite ok for short stay.Car Parking free even after you've checked outBreakfast and Dinner first class fish / lamb great service.Location cannot be bettered close to all places of interest.Enjoyable all round !!

Great couple of nights
I have just returned from a couple of nights stay at this hotel.The hotel is great, staff fantastic and could not be in a better location.It is a 2 minute walk to the main street were the pubs and restaurants are and 5 minutes from the theatre.Make time to go to the theatre it is fantastic.

Perfect location and a great balance between tradition and modernity.
We spent one night in the Falcon Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Firstly, the location. It is in the heart of the town and there is free parking for hotel guests. Anyone who knows Stratford will tell you that parking can be a nightmare.The older part of the hotel contains the bars and restaurant and these are full of character. What we like in addition was that the rear part which contained the guests bedrooms was modern. The bedroom was roomy, well decorated with a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom facilities.In addition we had our evening meal in the very traditional restaurant and the food was excellent in terms of quality and choice of dishes. Breakfast too was of a high standard with choices of both continental and traditional English choices. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
