Great location...
After reading the reviews we expected a small room and that's what we got, so no surprises. Although on the small size it was comfortable and clean. However there was an issue with the room being too warm, the air conditioning was poor and we made the mistake of opening the window to cool down which caused too numerous to count mosquito bites! (room 105)Breakfast wasn't included so we can't comment on the food but the breakfast room looked nice. The rest of the hotel was modern looking and nicely presented and the staff were friendly and helpful.The location was great, a few steps away from the main shopping high street and tram line. Approx 10 mins walk from train station one way and 10 mins walk to the sea the other. There is also a little supermarket next door, which is very handy. We ate at Don Carlo, a restaurant next door but one which served beautiful pasta and Pizzas, worth a visit. We loved Vieux Nice, lovely alley ways full of restaurants, shops, cafes and lots of atmosphere. When planning any trips by bus be aware that the bus station no longer exists as the area is being renovated. Trying to locate the right stop for a bus can be challenging, we eventually worked out the Monaco bus left from a street off Place Garibaldi. Well worth going to Monaco as only ¿¿¿1.50 one way if only just for the coastal scenery along the way. We really enjoyed Nice and this hotel enabled us to get the best out of the area. We would stay here again.

Very handy
Nice hotel, staff were helpful and patient with us and very tolerant of our poor french!! The hotel is central for the old town, restaurants, cafes, shops and also the train station. I cannot comment on the breakfast as we never ate at the hotel. I would stay here again though.

Great Location & cosy rooms
We arrived in Nice from Paris by TGV so found it relatively stress free to walk to the hotel with our luggage as it was a straightforward road from the station. Nicholas (the proprietor I think) was most helpful with his suggestions & helped us sort out our itinerary with his recommendations of where to go & what transport to take. We loved the room! Though not large, it was very nicely decorated & cosy. There were also nice touches like a small pouch of chocolates/nougat with a personalized card as a welcome gesture. Easy walk to the Promenade Anglais, Old Town & Castle Hill, which had lovely views of the Mediterranean & the town. Breakfast was simple but nice. Loved the croissants which was fluffy & fresh every morning.

Great location
We stay 3 nights at this lovely hotel. The room was quite small but arranged well and comfortable. The bathroom had a tiny shower but it work well, no water on the bathroom floor. The room and bathroom were spotless. We enjoyed a healthy breakfast every morning. There was a good variety of foods to choose from, yogurts, cereals, breads, cheeses, jams, mixed fruit and coffee & tea. The staff at the reception is friendly and very helpful. The location is convenient to train station, tram, promenade, restaurants and shopping.

Mediocre
The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Nice, within walking distance of the trainstation. The staff was very friendly as well. However, the room was spacious but not spotlessly clean and breakfast wasn't very good (not a lot of options, not fresh and the breakfast area was very small).
