Relaxing and Comfortable
Just returned from a short break with Wife & 2 Daughters (15 & 17). The Kingsmill was a perfect base for us to do a little exploring around Loch Ness, The Black Isle & beyond. Although just off a relatively busy road and 5 mins from the centre, being located adjacent to the Inverness Golf Club makes it feel far less urban. We took a 2 bed suite in the newer Kingsclub Spa annex & it was ideal. Clean, modern, satellite in both bedrooms, fabulous King Size bed & comfy bunks in the girls room. The bathroom had both double shower and a bath & was very contemporary in feel. We used the main hotel leisure facillities & found the pool, sauna & steam room perfect after a long day exploring. The staff were without exception helpful, breakfast was delicious and check-in/check-out was painless and easy as Kingsclub has its own seperate reception.

A luxurious, restful break near Loch Ness
We stayed here as a family of 4 for one night whilst visiting Loch Ness and surrounding area. We had been staying in a rented cottage further south in Scotland until that point. I wish we could have stayed longer...didn't want to leave. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and the porter joked with my two kids every time he saw them, which they loved. The family room was huge, with a separate room for the bunkbeds used by the kids. This is such a plus to have the children there but "not quite" there....I really wish more hotels would realise the value of a small interconnecting room. It makes a family stay so much comfier and enjoyable. The room was very comfortably furnished, light, airy, and had a really good sized bathroom which although arguably a little tired furnishings wise was spotlessly clean, had lovely toiletries, a huge bath and huge separate shower. Just what we needed after a shower-only cottage! It was one of those rooms that I immediately relaxed in - the bed in the main bedroom was ENORMOUS, and so comfy. Breakfast was good, but not great. We weren't particularly late getting down to breakfast but there were few staff about - noone on the buffet area, for example, and lots of tables still with dirty crockery to clear away. However, there was lots of choice and despite rubbery fried eggs we all ate well and enjoyed what we had.I can't comment on the spa area but my husband took the kids for a swim twice and they enjoyed it. The hotel is in a nice area, a fab park just across the road to let little ones stretch their legs and wear themselves out, and all round was a pleasant, happy stay. I would have loved to have stayed longer but we needed to get back....

Excellent hotel with friendly staff in a great location.
Having never visited Inverness before, we decided to stay at the Kingsmill Hotel due to two separate people recommending it. On arrival at the hotel we were delighted to be informed that we had been given an upgrade and were in the Kingsmill Club building. As we were a little early, we did not expect to be able to check in, however the very friendly receptionist found us a room that was ready which turned out to be very luxurious and well equipped. There was even a welcome plate of home bakes which did not last long! Our room had a sheltered balcony overlooking the golf course and luckily we had the weather to enjoy a few drinks here. On our first night we ate at the Inglis Restaurant in the main building, the meal was delicious and the service excellent. One of our favourite aspects of the hotel, were the leisure facilities. We made use of the pool, jacuzzi and sauna area on both days we were here and found it to be a relaxing way to start our day. The service at breakfast was also exceptional, and there was a great choice of food available, whether you went for the cooked or continental option. With the hotel only being a 15 minute walk to the centre of Inverness, it is well located and easy to find. All in all, this was a great hotel and we will definitely not hesitate to stay here again, and we will be recommending it to our friends.

Amazing stay!
We were booked at the Kingsmills Hotel but upon arrival we were upgraded to the Kingsclub & Spa. Such a beautiful hotel with an amazing bed! The bathroom was also great and featured a full separate tub. We loved Inverness and and this hotel only made it better.

Most comfortable bed!
This hotel was booked on my behalf by a client so I can't really comment on the value for money but I really enjoyed my stay. The room was large and very comfortable - I don't think I've ever slept in a larger or cozier bed. There were a lot of nice touches, like a fridge, fresh apples and dressing gowns in the room.My sleep was undisturbed, the hotel seemed quiet and I wasn't aware of the other patrons. There was a cost if you wanted to use the Internet in your room (it was free in the public areas) but the cost seemed very reasonable compared to what you can be expected to pay in other hotels. I didn't eat in the hotel restaurant so I can't really comment on those facilities.
