Fantastic value and service!
Visited for family meal. Staff were friendly and attentive. We dined with our 2 children (9&7) and all meals on menu were offered at half portions for half price. Excellent food and quick service, all at a very reasonable price. Will definately visit again soon.

Murrayfield House, luxurious, peaceful
We stayed one night in the Murrayfield house. We were expecting to stay in the Hotel, but to our surprise we were placed in the House.This is soooo beautiful ! The house is recently renewed and redecorated. We had a beautiful room, very tidy, TV hidden in the mirror, rainshower with light therapy, docking station for the Iphone for surround music in room or even seperately in the bathroom.We had dinner in the pub of the Hotel. Great food, and very friendly staff !Highly recommended !!

They make a House a Home!
Moved up to the 'Murrayfield H & H' from my usual favourite the Grassmarket Hotel, but despite not having the Grssmkt area's range of pubs and restaurants I very much enjoyed my stay!!!! Staff were excellent (espec Ethna who'd always chat and ask how you were); as was all the food and the range of beers. Thurs Nite Quiz was vg also!!My room 309 in the 'House' section 75 metres along from the more traditional hotel was excellent and v Grssmkt Hotel-like with its humour - the sofas in the front garden etc! Rainfall Shower brillnt as ever!!! Complmtry nip - yum!

Amazing Room
Enjoyed our stay at the Murrayfield House on Saturday night. The room (9) was gorgeous and to definately our taste (boutique & classy). Attention to detail in this newly refurbished room was second to none (ipod dock, GHD hair straightners amongst the items provided) - everything you need to make your stay a pleasure. Had a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed.The staff were extemely helpful and friendly and we will most definately be staying here again (looking forward to checking out the other refurbished rooms as they look fab too!!).Atmosphere in the pub was good and the food looked good to, so again will need to revisit.

nice hotel,friendly staff ,and a good breakfast but the room was terrible very old fashioned room 10 ,when i booked on alpha rooms the rooms looked lovly but this one surly was nt was nt woth ¿¿95, it was a disgrace of a room
