lovely Hotel
Stayed here for one night 27-4-2013. Lovely staff quick check in room very nice and clean. Lovely position right opposite the pier. Free parking and wi-fi.We had lunch and dinner there and both were very good the downside was the dinner service was very slow. The head waiter had to keep on at the very young staff to do things and it was no better at breakfast the next morning . Saying that we would go back there again.

Consistently very good.
We stayed here recently for just one night, our third stay at the Hermitage. Check in staff were very professional and efficient. We had a lovely corner room overlooking the sea. Dinner in the restaurant was good, but I thought the portion sizes a little disappointing. Breakfast was fine, it is a buffet, but the quality was fine. If I had one small criticism it was the quality of the wi-fi, it was extremely slow. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and keen to help. The location of the hotel is excellent, right opposite the pier. We will return, hopefully soon.

Great service, location & friendly staff!
We had a great time with our stay in Bournmouth at this hotel and thoroughly recommend it. Brilliant value for money - couldn't ask for more :-) lovely breakfast. Fab spacious family room with our baby, so she had plenty of space to run around.Well done & thank you :-)

Comfortable, clean and caring
On our first visit to the Hermitage we were impressed with the welcome (excellent porter) and the high standard of the decor and facilities. A spotless room on the ground floor, though the bed was too small (a small double - when a King Sized should be the norm). Bathroom was A1. Good night's sleep marred by antisocial, selfish behaviour of other guests at 2am.Breakfast was fantastic; loads of choice, constant replenishment of the hot dishes and a wonderfully efficient and friendly restaurant manager - Giles. Checkout was simple and the free parking never a problem.A huge amount has been spent on this hotel and it deserves to do well. Excellent location next to the BIC, Pavilion, Sea Front and Lower Gardens.
