Decent property
I was here for a wedding recently and also stayed the night. The lobby is gorgeous; there is lots of space to sit and have a drink from the nearby bar. (Although I paid $18.25 for a beer, a glass of wine, and a ginger ale...seems a bit steep to me.) My room was well-appointed and comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, so it would have been difficult for more than two people to get ready at once. I didn't go out onto the "patio" since the weather was bad but it was essentially a concrete slab with a table and two chairs. There is no privacy as you could see everyone else out on their patios, too, so depending on your preference that could be good or bad. Breakfast was pretty good in the morning, although the service was quite slow. I would probably stay here again if I were in the area.

just a little more needed
Stayed at this hotel for three days in May, 2013.The room I had was on the second floor and was quite good, with individually wrapped cups and a tea/coffee maker. The tub needed renovating as the surface was missing in the shape of a mat. The ironing board also needed changing. The staff was very good with the people at the front desk acting very professionally. The restaurant onsite, though pricey (18.00$), had a really good selection for the breakfast buffet and what's more is that you can order from the kitchen for that price whatever you want. I would stay at the hotel again, just ask for a room with a good tub and ironing board. Didn't check out the pool. Overall a good hotel with friendly staff.

Good Restaurant / Average Hotel
Stayed here on business. The best part of the stay was the dinner in the restaurant. The menu was varied and interesting and the food and service were both very good. I was very pleasantly surprized as I did not expect much from a Doubletree restaurant. The hotel was very busy and was filled with wedding goers, party goers and meeting goers. The result was a loud bit of craziness, and at least one person who vomited in the lobby leaving a lasting smell through the night. The room was clean and fine, the bed comfortable and I had no complaints. Basic and functional and clean - couldnt ask for much more. Nothing special, no fancy amenities or art work or trendy furnishing - just plain functionality. I did like the number of outlets available to me without moving furnature. I carry many electronics and need to recharge them, and there is nothing more I hate than moving furnature and unplugging lamps just so i can find an empty outlet. No problems here.

mediocre at best
I would say overall the hotel "appears" to be nice. But a close look tells you something more. The pool had a layer of scum around the edge. The paint was pealing off the bathroom ceiling and the grout was grungy and missing in some areas. They tout this "cookie" on admission - didnt happen! But no big deal. The overpriced breakfast buffet is typically complimentary is MOST hotels. The fact they had no wifi was a big NEGATIVE.

Good value
Large property, good rates, free parking, clean weel-appointed rooms. Did not eat at breakfast buffet, but went to great diner across the street. We only used the room to rest overnight on our way to "the city"
