great room,great hotel
Booked and stayed at this hotel for a 2 day trip,sightseeing Bath, we were greeted by a very helpful and friendly receptionist and directed to our room which was very comfortable and spotless and very quiet and peacefull, the breakfast was just great with a good selection to choose from, the only thing is stay away from the orange juice,if you can call it that, undrinkable!!!.This hotel is ideal as a center to explore Bath and area.Thank you for a great stayWilf Hodgson

good rooms
We stayed here for a birthday treat, the hotel looks lovely inside. The room was good size, but a little unclean. The bed frame was stained and the bedside table leg (chromed) has lots of dirty watermarks on. The bed was comfy but a little too firm for my liking (that's me being picky!) the bathroom was lovely and clean. The breakfast was very limited but still tasty nonetheless

Great service, comfortable room
Spent one night over Easter weekend in room for 2, small but comfortable, very clean. Our room overlooked Lower Bristol Road, and we were initially concerned with all the afternoon traffic sounds. But it settles down at night, and we had no trouble sleeping. Breakfast was fine, a bit busy as hotel seemed to be full. We thought the parking fee was quite reasonable for Bath where parking can be difficult at busy holidays, especially for those of us not used to driving in UK. Hotel is convenient to historic area, maybe a 10 minute walk. We were able to spend our checkout day visiting Bath on foot, as car could be left in the lot til afternoon. (maybe 4pm?) Staff was very helpful upon our arrival with nearby restaurant suggestions. At checkout, Laura (I think I have the right name) helped us with directions to our next hotel in south Wales and printed out directions even though the hotel was with a different chain and the desk was very busy with a large group checking in. Got a great rate booking through the HI Express website. Thanks again, HIXP, for a great stay!

Lovely friendly place to stay
A lovely friendly hotel with extremely professional, attentive and enthusiastic staff. Very clean and comfortable. Easy access to BATH city centre and all amenities. Breakfast was great and plenty of it - thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definiately stay again and recommend to friends and family alike

Good bog standard hotel. A bit expensive but it's what you will pay
Stayed here for 3 nights. Provided all the usual, breakfast, wifi (for free in the reception), basic room. No complaints really, breakfast was a bit basic. Paid ¿¿90 a night which I thought was expensive but it wasn't that bad compared to others in the area. Although not in the heart of the city, it was a nice walk to it, about 10 mins or so. Be sure to check out the market in the old train station building on your way to town.
