Great Stay At The Ramada
just got back from a 4 night stay at the Ramada Hotel, there is nothing bad to say about this hotel, EVERYTHING was superb, the food was hot, plenty of it served by very friendly staff, rooms were spotless, comfy king size bed, big room, we go on lots of trips and this is by far the best hotel we have stayedBill and Val

The Great Ramada, Grantham
The Ramada Hotel in Grantham is really excellent. Large, bright, spacious and very comfortable. Very plesant, young helpful staff, excellent food, bedrooms fantastic with extremely large beds. To get into your Room put your card in the lock and then take it out straightaway to gain entrance. Near to beautiful Stamford which isso interesting and a little further afield Lincoln, the Cathedral quater is fantasticcontaining both the medieval cathedral and the Prison. Can't fault the Ramada in Grantham, it is well worth a visit and is very reasonable too.

Wedding venue
Our son and his wife held their wedding reception at the Ramada over the weekend and I would just like to say we could not find fault in anyway and would recommend it to anyone looking to use the hotel in the future. The staff could not have been more helpful, firendly and accomodating. Thank you for adding to to the success of Richard and Natasha's special day. Chris and Steve Bates

Friendly staff but looking a little frayed around the edges!
Hadn't stayed at a Ramada for a while and this was booked for a family reunion, so not a personal choice. From outside the hotel looks quite modern, sadly unreflected in the bedrooms and common areas. However, our room was clean but decor and fittings very tired looking, ready for a refurb. We couldn't get our shower working, water was at best tepid on the hottest setting. So we opted for a bath and we got plenty of scaldingly hot water, my brother had exactly the same experience too. We felt car parking arrangements let it the hotel down, as it was a decent walk from rear car park to reception, rear doors onto the car park were marked 'no access'? Plenty of room in bar / breakfast room despite a wedding party in situ too - so no lengthy queues for drinks - though bar prices were quite steep. Breakfast was OK, providing a small selection of cereals, juices, the usual sausage / bacon hot food combo and a small continental selection. Would I stay here again? Yes, probably, as staff were friendly and location good for sightseeing.

National Holidays Coach Break, Great Hotel, Well Done !!
This Hotel was used as a one night stay for a 2 day coach Trip offered by National Holidays the break was Stamford and Lincoln luxury, the hotel, I believe, was the first visit by this coach company as it was ideally located to the 2 destinations.On arrival it was very well organised, there was a pleasant smart lady member of staff giving the room keys to all the visitors and explaining with clear directions as to how they should find their rooms, no problems at all.The coach party of 45 were soon shown the way and made welcome, the evening meal was fixed at 7pm, there was a good choice on the menu and the waitress staff were very pleasant and friendly, they soon managed to provide all the tables in order with the meals they had requested, using a written waiter note, so simple but very effective here, I was on 16 the last, but it didn't take them long to deliver quality food, when we had eaten the plates were soon removed, the same quality was given at the breakfast the next morning, a surprising excellent selection of all you would expect from this quality of hotel and all hot on both evening and morning servings, it was excellent on hospitality, you can notice that staff development and training had been applied as it showed in the quality of food and staff relations to the customers. Well done to the managers too, and indeed the owner.The room was really good clean and massive, as was the bathroom, it was decorated in a pleasant colour scheme and everything was in place and clean, the bed was comfortable and the whole hotel was really quite at night the only noise was a couple of doves in the morning, there was also a wedding function there was no noise. The bed in our room was 3 pillows wide 6 pillows in total, ideal for those couples wishing to go through divorce and be parted, or those just married for a bit of "we are now away from the church and alter fun" !!Generally the hotel is spotless and very well presented inside and out, there is ample parking, perhaps it may need a couple of coach parking spaces making in the car park but they had coned off an area for our coach and it was not a problem.The main impression I had during my stay was the pleasant attitude from ALL the staff this is a number ONE here, good food, clean, warm and very well organised, probably the best hotel I have stayed at on the short weekend coach breaks that I love doing on a regular basis.Well done to National Holidays Coach Breaks for choosing it, you picked a good one here !!Bob & Rachel Manchester.
