We used this as a convenient way of checking in for our Gatwick flight 24 hours early, thereby giving us a restful night prior to flying, and to park the car up for a fortnight at a competitive rate.Excellent service all round, the receptionists were friendly, courteous and helpful. Parking up was a breeze and on our return the car was in exactly the same position in the multi-storey as we had left it. Therefore, vehicle security is not an issue we would be concerned with should we use this hotel¿¿¿s amenities again in the future.Bedrooms are spacious (huge windows allow in swathes of natural light), there is sufficient wardrobe and drawer space for an overnight or even long weekend stay, the bed itself was comfortable (pillows the best I¿¿¿ve come across in a hotel for years), the usual tea/coffee-making facilities are provided as well as tv, and there¿¿¿s a roomy shower room. More important, noise from the nearby airport was not an issue ¿¿¿ soundproofing in the rooms is excellent.Can¿¿¿t comment on meals as we didn¿¿¿t eat at the hotel in the evening, and were gone too early the next day to sample breakfast.Incidentally, transfer to Gatwick costs only ¿¿3 per person using the regular shuttle service.Overall, this hotel catered for exactly what we required for an overnight stay prior to our flight from Gatwick the following morning, including secure parking for a fortnight. Will we use this hotel¿¿¿s services again? Yes, absolutely.

We have stayed at the Best Western Gatwick Moat House on several occasions, when flying from Gatwick Airport, our last visit was on the 1 May, 2013. The hotel is only five minutes away by shuttle bus. The rooms are comfortable and ideal for a short stay. The bar serves bar meals and a good selection of drinks. The restaurant is excellent with a good choice of meals to suit all tastes. The breakfast is buffet style, so is quick and easy. Dinner is waitress service and all the meals are cooked to order and are to a very high standard. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

First time we have stayed at this hotel.The check in process was very good and staff very helpful,and friendly. The rooms were basic but very clean and had tea and coffee making facilities.The food was overpriced but we were able to use our Tastecard and get 50 per cent of our bill,which made it quite good value.The car park was quite tight to park,which was the only down side of hotel.Taking everything in to account,would I recommend any one to stay there the answer is yes, as we are staying there again soon.

I got this hotel on a deal by booking Laterooms and paid ¿¿40 B&B for a twin room. Wasn't expecting much for that price but the hotel was excellent. Immaculate well appointed room & good bathroom. Getting in to Gatwick at 1.00am, I didn't relish the thought of a long journey to the hotel but need not have worried, The Moathouse is a mere 5 mins away. Great nights sleep, followed by decent breakfast. I was even given complimentary parking overnight... quite unbelievable given the location.

When we arrived reception were fine. We had a very long trip from Hong Kong previous to that Australia and when we went to have a shower the water just poured out of the hole like a tap. There was no fan in the room and it was very very hot. After notifying the reception they really did come up and inspect the shower ASAP and moved us to another room. Although we were vey tired and it was inconvenient as by then we were in our pyjamas it was still good of the management to do something about the problem. A big thank you for that. However this hotel has NO fans or cooling system. The room for three was very small had to put the suitcase on the bed to open it. The transfer was good.
