Ramada Queens
Firstly, You need to consider that you have paid for cheaper hotel in New York City. However some issues could not happen.Despite of paying via travel (air tickets) agency, immediately after arrival to the desk the staff was not able to find the reservation. Did not understand our voucher. When reservation found the staff requested additional payment and said that our reservation is not paid but the voucher said clearly "PAID, CUSTOMER WILL PAY ONLY EXTRAS". The room was quite OK, the only problem - noise from the streets and cold so we had to use the heater in the room. Really catastrophic is the breakfast. Every day the same syntetic food (egg slapjack without any taste, or strange meat loafs and sweets). There is no fruits or vegetables, hard to choose what to eat. Everything is self-served at plastics. Breakfast is till 10AM but in reality in 9:30 nothing to eat and staff is not willing to refill and got upset after our request to add some food. One day before check-out the room key card stopped worked and later on was found that staff expected (wrongly) that we are leaving earlier so it was wrongly set up.If we wanted some small complimentary, it was okay, the staff supported us.The neighbourhood is not a problem of the hotel. On Hillside Avenue you can find shops or small restaurants, metro is approx 5 minutes to go. We did even some good shoppings in the neighbourhood. The biggest problem is the breakfast. The biggest advantage: Metro and Bus station nearby.

GOOD SERVICE BAD LOCATION...
The Ramada hotel is not close to the Airport as claimed...25 dollars in taxi..about 20 minutes fromJFK...It was difficult at night to locate and its bit scary.The area is full of Africans,Bangladeshi and some Indian...Looks dull compared to Manhattan...But fortunatety a subway station 169 street is just 5 minutes walk and can help to go to manhattan as required...besides its much cheaper compared to manhattan hotel..Rooms were big with coffee maker,iron,tv...etc..etc...The Manager and staffs were Indian and friendly...The breakfast was ok..But the lobby was small and probably misled in the picture...Any way a cheaper OK hotel

Just Good Enough
Hotel is barely making the grade. If your looking for an overnight stay with little amenities, this might be the place for you. Little parking, small bathroom, small room period. Little more expensive than I would like but it is NYC, so you might take that into account.

Good for the price, noisy area.
The hotel rooms are clean, the service is alright.The area is not good at all, its really noisy, there are very bright lights on the streets that get into the room. There are no curtains.Overall good for the price.

Couple Escape
The room was clean and quiet from outside noises. There was a soda vending machine easily accessible on the floor.
