Clean, Great Value & Good Location
This hotel was everything I needed for the 1 night I stayed there and was good value, clean, well maintained and well equipped. The location is ace as it is right on the motorway but not noisy as there is double glazing. The room I was in also benefitted from air-con so on a hot night (if there ever is such a thing in the UK again!) it will be cool enough to sleep without having to open a window. There's loads of free parking spaces too so no worries there.I'd guess that the hotel was built in the late 80's/early 90's but has been refurbished recently (I stayed April 2013) or is very well maintianed indeed. There was an ironing board, tea and coffee facilities, a safe and plenty of desk space to work on some last minute jobs I had to do. the TV was pretty big for a room of that size (45in+) so watched some football, feeling like I was at the match!The restraunt staff were very attentive but I've got to say that the menu was somewhat limited, though the food was reasonably priced. The self service breakfast was nice and tasty - not too greasy. All in all a good hotel and I would definitely stay there again.

Great location, friendly staff
We stayed here on trip to Walsall recently. Managed to get rooms for ¿¿49.95 which was great value. Room was clean, tidy and well equipped especially for the money. Would have no hestiation in recommending.

Faultless
I had a great stay at this hotel. The Holiday Inn Express is very conveniently located next to Junction 10 of the M6 with ample parking spaces. Despite being in close proximity to the motorway, the rooms are very well soundproofed and I wasn't disturbed by the traffic at all. What's more is that the town centre is only a 20 minute walk away so it's not as far out as you might think.As far as facilities are concerned, the hotel offers the basics which you would expect for this price - tea and coffee facilities in the room, television with various channels and clothes hangers. The shower was nice and powerful with plenty of hot water and the room and bathroom was absolutely spotless and clean. My only very minor criticism is that the carpet finished an inch short of the skirting board - I realise this is being pernickety but it struck me as odd considering the rest of the hotel was decorated so well.Another added bonus is the free of charge buffet-style breakfast which included a choice of cooked sausages, scrambled egg and beans, a selection of pastries (croissants, pain au chocolats) as well as toast, marmelade and cereals. Whilst it's not exactly gourmet dining, it's very edible and it's great that the hotel include this for free, especially as the rooms are reasonably priced to begin with.I would definitely stay here again and can thoroughly recommend.

Clean hotel with friendly staff!
Had a good couple nights stay at this hotel. Members of Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bedroom was clean and well maintained. Room was very quite so had a great night's sleep. It was everything I needed for my trip.

Great value
Cant beat this place for value and convenience. Nice rooms, nice breakfast, cosy bedrooms. Couple of minutes of main motorway and plenty of parking in a safe area. Hard to find any faults at all and stayed here before and sure i will be using again in the future.
