Nice facilities, small room for family of 4.
We were a family of 4 (parents and 2 adult children in their early 20s) traveling to Holland to visit the Keukenhof tulip gardens. Due to prices of rooms, we did not want to get two separate rooms, so we got a double/double room. For one night, it was not a bad situation, so we really cannot complain, but larger beds would have been nice. The room was a little cramped for 4 people with suitcases, but we managed. The bathroom was spacious, with an actual shower curtain (other hotels on this trip had inadequate panes of glass or nothing at all). We initially liked that the light in the bathroom was on a motion sensor, until we took a shower and it turned off in the middle of the shower and you had to stick your hand out and wave it around to get the light to turn back on - and until I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and the light automatically turned on, blasting light into the dark room. The breakfast that came with the room was excellent, with a lot of choices and set up in a buffet style. We did not eat dinner in the hotel restaurant, however, because an Italian buffet was about 25 Euros per person (about $33/person) and I felt that was quite high. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. In fact, one of the staff at the breakfast buffet clued me in to the fact that the hotel would loan us umbrellas because it had started to rain when we were headed to the tulip gardens. They also stored our luggage for us while we visited the tulip gardens. Overall quite satisfied with the hotel, but might get 2 rooms for 4 people next time.

Family Oriented
I read the reviews of this hotel as being very family centered, travelling on my own though the price enticed me. The staff were very helpful, and the room and facilities were perfect for what i needed. Room service was delicious, a first was paying for it when I got received it, but this made checking out quicker. However, if you really don't like children running around the lobby,or being able to hear a baby at certain times of the day I would use a bit of caution. It did not bother me in the slightest as I was so tired and just looking forward to going to my room. However,I did not go to the restaurant as I thought there might be a lot of children. All in all I enjoyed my stay and was very comfortable for the entirety.

Nice, but a bus ride to city center
Usually stay at the Tulip, but they were sold out, so I stayed at the Holiday Inn. Since the Holiday Inn is very much a budget hotel in the US, I was nervous. But the rooms were nice and big, big bathroom with full tub, clean, etc. the only I didn't like was the location... The Tulip is close to the city center and the train. But there are buses...

A typical Holiday Inn experience
Rooms are clean and big. Some of them open directly on a parking lot which, privacy-wise, is not ideal. Interesting architecture. Rich help-yourself breakfast with a wide variety of choices. Personnel is helpful. If you want to eat in the hotel go to the main hall... they offer a nice buffet at an affordable price. The restaurant is instead, dark, overpriced and of medium-low quality.

Ok, but not fancy
We have stayed here before so there is that level of comfort. Breakfast was ok, the salmon smelled very fishy so I did not eat it. They do have a few food items which are individually wrapped and therefore easy to use as snacks later. They tease you with their coffee / tea area which appears tempting but you can only use it during THEIR limited dining hrs. I must complain about one issue...they have automatic lights in the bathroom which do not stay on very long and therefore can put you in an awkward dark position....The outside of the facility is not well kept...being that close to Keukenhof and having such a tiny selection of flowers does nothing for tourism. Beware of their "set" prices, if you decide to change or alter it in anyway, they will not accommodate.
