had a pleasant stay
Stayed here for two consecutive weeks on a business trip to The Hague. Lobby looked alright, bar & restaurant were decent. Service in the restaurant area was a bit slow in the evenings & I preferred having room service instead, which was delivered promptly & without hassle.Rooms were great & I did not miss much in terms of supplies. The irons they have in their rooms are really rubbish though -- not steam, and could require some cleaning as I had rusted/burnt irons in both rooms I was staying in. The minibar is alright, but quite expensive.Free internet is a joke, do upgrade to the wired/wireless one asap if you want to do anything at all online. cost me EUR 35 for 7 days I believe, which included the TV channels as well.They have a gym and a pool downstairs as well, which is not too big but should have most of the things you need (no free weights I believe though). The chlorinated water smell in the lifts was rather pleasant too in the early mornings.Breakfast & front desk service was great, so no compaints there. Would come again -- actually, I already know I will be back in Feb 2014 & am fine with it!

Amazing Hotel
Had a last minute job to carry out for a client just outside Rotterdam. They had booked me into this incredible hotel. The decor was all white with very trendy lighting and seating. We finished work late and hit the bar. even after midnight we were still able to order food and drinks.Great service, you can beat a large glass of good quality red wine served at the correct temperature. Really great rooms all mod cons followed by a good spread at the buffet breakfast.

Excellent value for money
I have stayed at this hotel several times but it has not disappointed me. The hotel offers very good facilities, spacious room with free wifi, a good gym and an indoor pool in the basment. The location is between the centre and the beach with a tram line almost next to it. There is an excellent jogging trail at the back of the hotel leading to a park, a lake and a rose garden toward the beach direction. The service is also good though a bit slow. There is also no shops (except the Shell station and the kiosk there) or restraurant nearby. But it is excellent value for money among all 4-5 star hotels in The Hague.

Not horrible any more...still needs to address children's needs
When we told our friends were would be staying in the Crowne Plaza, they were horrified "it's terrible, find somewhere else and fast". We had seen over the past year the new extension being built and were lucky enough to stay in the new wing, which was really fabulous. Great beds, we had adjoining rooms which worked really well for us with our children. The breakfast was great with wide variety. We ate here only once at night, principally because the restaurant did not have a children's menu. We weren't very pleased to be paying ¿¿¿20.00 for a plate of pasta for our two young sons. The dinner was very expensive and quite frankly, not worth it. We chose to dine elsewhere in The Hague after that. The staff were friendly but the service was painfully slow. Also, our room door...the security key card...every time we left the room the key card would stop working or the door lock would not recognise the key. It became quite ridiculous and the staff did not offer any solution when we enquired whether it could be fixed. In any case, the hotel is near Madurodam and near tram lines into town, so convenient but not really close to anything else. The closest shop is at the Shell Service Station near the entrance to the hotel, so cheaper source of snacks.
