Excellent value, cheaper than just booking valet car service.
We opted to get a taxi rather than the irregular shuttle. The hotels not exactly on top of the airport, but really no big issue.The room was on the small side, but clean and well furnished.Check in was efficient & courteous. Although upon having our car returned to us at the airport, we were told We'd been given the wrong bar codes etc?Bar service was great, but it all fell down on the food. There's no mistaking that the bar menu burger had been pre-cooked & microwaved?? Highly recommend still for ¿¿90 you get a room and 8 days valet parking - brilliant.

A refreshing change.
Constantly staying in different hotels causes you to become immune to the robotic check-in, sub standard facilities and false goodbye's upon departure. Not so here, a slice of old school friendliness and customer service was present throughout this stopover. A smooth check-in with constant updates on when the suite would be ready, early access to the club lounge, rapid arrival of extra towels through housekeeping and just as quick room service delivery of ice. Small things that drive you crazy if they take 30 minutes to show up elsewhere. A great suite where everything worked as it should do, coffee in a cafetiere and everywhere as clean as a whistle. Naomi, a front of house manageress deserves a special mention and a pat on the back for representing a global brand with a local feel. So long Sofitel and hello Crowne Plaza for all future Gatwick layovers.

Good start to holiday
My daughter and I stayed here before flying to Greece the next day.The room was spacious to say the least! A sitting area and two televisions!The beds were wonderful- of a standard I have only come across in America and have been searching for ever since !We dined in the bar and the food was excellent. All in all a wonderful start to a wonderful holiday.Now I just need to do it all again.A big thank you to the hotel and the staff.

Brilliant start to holiday.
Booked the hotel in conjunction with The Crowne Plaza hotel, brilliant deal as the car parking and hotel were only slightly more then the car parking at Gatwick airport was going to cost. Save the trauma of driving down the M25 on a Monday morning! The hotel was very good, and the room was more than sufficient for a one night stay, had read that the walls were thin! But all seemed fine to us. We were greeted by friendly, helpful staff and the meal that we had in the hotel restaurant was certainly o.k. APH car parking were brilliant, only a 6 mile drive to the off airport park and then a quick bus trip to the terminal. Return journey just as good, lonely waited about 10 minutes for the bus, and on arrival at the car park was back in our car within minutes. Could highly recommend both hotel and aph, the deal was well worth the money spent!

Spot on
Lovely hotel. Nice rooms. We also are in the restaurant having cheese flatbread for appetiser then pork terrine with warm bread for starter. For main we had the steak burger and profiteroles for dessert which was a fantastic meal although the portions are quite large . The staff are friendly and the bed in the room is so comfy with fantastic aircon.
