Echoing other reviews the standout for this hotel is the staff. All wonderfully pleasant, attentive without hovering, speedy service. All in all truly excellent service. Restaurant was never over busy, but had enough custom to provide an atmosphere. We stayed a few nights as we were visiting family in the area, and all week different staff members kept the same high standards. they even remembered my drinks order from the previous night!Room were on the small side but clean and beds extremely comfortable. The black out curtains meant we had a great night's sleep. Shower only, no bath; but seemingly infinite hot water and very powerful shower jets meant this wasn't too much of an inconvenience.I cannot give it five stars, it is only a premier inn. But an exceptional specimen

I get to stay in Premier Inns all over the country so no real surprises here really other than this place appears to be a former Holiday Inn Express, judging by room layout etc.The location is pretty grim, in the middle of an industrial estate but you can always close the curtains!The reception staff were very welcoming as we're the bar and restaurant staff - I ate at the nearby Frankie and Bennies so can't comment on the food but the breakfast was good and delivered promptly - I confess, in terms of quality of staff and service this place put me in mind of Premier Inn 3 or four years ago, only the prices are significantly higher but that's across the chain not specifically here Yes I would stay again / recommend

Never stayed in a Premier Inn. This seems to be a new one? But was very pleasantly surprised.Firstly check in was very quick by a girl who was polite and very smiling. We were given quiet corner rooms.The bedrooms are well lit, seem newly decorated and have blackout blinds. The bed is very comfortable. There is a small tv and tea making facilities in the room. The bathroom is very clean, (even the shower curtain was clean) and has a shower with constant hot water.We had breakfast. Very good choice. There is a buffet with cereal, fruit, yogurt, croissants, muffins and juice. There is also hot food- sausages, scrambled and fried eggs, mushrooms, bacon,beans and hash browns. You can make toast. Tea and Costa Coffee available. You can also ask the kitchen for porridge, veggie sausages or other eggs. Very good value for money.The staff are incredible. All very polite, accommodating and nothing is a problem for them.

Excellent rooms, staff and breakfast revved in the Thyme restaurant located in the hotel - 100% better than Beefeater breakfast. The location is fine, although located next to busy main road roundabout, the rooms are suitably soundproofed to ensure good nights sleep.

The staff really made our stay here excellent. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable but the staff made the difference - they were friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant which was pretty cheap and decent.
