Total disappointment
Never in a million years is this a 4star hotel, the carpet in our room was dirty,no tea/coffee facilities in room,the staff were really ignorant don't know if they didn't like British people but were not nice at all.the little pool that was on the roof was out of use and had a sign on it come back next year,we didn't know this before we went, it was between 35-40 degrees when we were there last week 7th-17th july 2012, so we could have done with this to cool down. The food was something you would get in a hospital canteen, in fact I think the food there would be better than what we were given.There was never anyone serving at the bar, we had to go looking for someone to serve us and that was every night not a one off.Not a nice expeirience at all and We would advise anyone to stay away from this hotel and avoid the disappointment we had, waited all year for this holiday and it was spoilt by this hotel.

Not even a two star
On arrival at the place our coach party wasn't even meet by any staff we had to get our own keys plus the meals were not 4* I could turn out that menu ,the room,s were rubbish & iam shore that i was bitten by something from the vents inthe walls & the staff were not very pleasant people. Breakfast was ok the scrambled egg was like runny soup the evening meals were ok but there was only one member of staff waiting on tables so it made some of the meals not so hot.

Not a Four Star Property
This is not a four star hotel, as advertised, by any stretch of the imagination. The hotel is very basic and shows its age. The hotel does not offer even the most basic amenities one would expect from a three star hotel, such as a valet service, a coffee maker, bars of soap, a decent sized TV (the one in the room was about the size of a standard computer monitor) and an on-site restaurant (one must access the hotel's restaurant from the street as it is not accessible from the hotel itself). The hotel is in obvious need of remodeling and refurnishing. A chair in my room was worn through and the carpet looked like it was laid in the 1960's or 70's. Also, the decor in the room and hallways (set in turquoise and orange) was somewhat reminiscent of that era. Finally, the unscreened window to my room was left partially open before I arrived, inviting several of the neighborhood's insects inside. The only pluses I can think of are price, a reasonably comfortable bed and a decent location, four blocks from the Croisette and a block from Rue d'Antibes.

Not Cheap or Cheerful
A very disappointing stay. I traveled with a coach party and they could not handle 8 guest let alone 48. The walls are paper thin so you can hear what your neighbours are doing. It is very noisy if you are staying at the front of the hotel with deliveries etc. The rooms were not cleaned properly and the staff treated us as though we were an inconvienence to them instead of paying guests.The bar? forget it walk down the road 5 minutes and there is an Irish pub with a 3 hour happy hour. We asked for a gin & tonic, the girl wanted to put it in a pint sized glass then didn't know if they had any gin, we had to show her where the bottle was, and she didn't know how much to put in, just a complete waste of time, we ended up buying a bottle of gin & a bottle of tonic from the supermarket the next day and drank in our room.To get to the resturant you have to go outside and along the street a little way, OK if the weather is fine. The resturant staff treated us better and some, not all were friendlier. I would definatley not recommend this hotel, especially if you want to sleep at night.

Not so good...!!!
I stayed at this hotel last week for business (I took part to the ILTM) and the hotel was not near to the Palais des Congr¿¿s (15 minutes by foot) - but very near to Rue d'Antibes and La Croisette. The hotel was old fashion and the service was not a 4 star service. The buffet breakfast was not satisfying and the rooms were very noisy (also during the night).I suggest a renovation!
