Highly recommended
We had a comfortable stay at this hotel. The room was well appointed and good size by Parisian standards. We paid extra to have a view on the Eiffel tower and the spectacular view really was worth the cost.The bed in our room was very comfortable and the hotel is very quiet despite being situated at the hub of activity at St Michel.The bathroom had a lovely roomy fully enclosed shower ( no water on the floor) but the fancy showerhead was pretty useless and the water pressure was low. It took lots of time and patience to shower.Also the hair dryer and the power point in the bathroom were temperamental - sometimes they worked, sometimes not. Not a big deal for us, there were other power points in the room. Of the 3 lifts in the hotel only 2 worked, so at times there was a wait- the lifts are small.Breakfast choices were adequate - not gourmet but good enough.The hotel does not have parking but parking Vinci is literally on the doorstep and offers long term rates.The hotel staff are helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we are in Paris next.

I'm trying to think of something original to post...
...but I can't. The three recent reviewers that I am looking at while writing this cover all points. Great location in the Latin Quarter, splendid view of the city from the roof top deck, helpful staff. Though some question the bathroom window, my only complaint is that my wife insisted on closing the blinds when she took a shower. Perhaps it would be a problem if my shower at home did not have sufficient coverage to keep the water off the floor, but it didn't pose a problem for us during our four night stay.So grab a sandwich at Mich's, a Cohiba at the tabac, and a six pack of 1664 at the shop right next to the main entrance and head up to the roof to enjoy the view of the city.

LOTS GOING FOR IT
So here¿¿¿s the drill:Location¿¿¿really outstanding¿¿¿and perhaps the real reason for staying here; close to everything that is ¿¿¿classically Paris,¿¿¿ as well as minutes-away trains, metro, and all the rest.Price¿¿¿well, it¿¿¿s Paris! Our ¿¿¿upgraded¿¿¿ (Priority Club) room cost about $365 per night.Staff¿¿¿on the whole, helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable; it¿¿¿s a busy place so sometimes you have to wait in line at the desk.Room¿¿¿nicely designed and appointed; spacious by Parisian standards; very comfortable bed, with a large choice of pillows.Bath¿¿¿fairly large; thick towels; good hair dryer; complimentary soaps, lotions, etcetera. HOWEVER, the shower is bizarrely designed (meant to be chic and avant-garde?) and floods the floor! It seems to me that they could have spent a few euros on a nice shower curtain!Work area¿¿¿comfortable desk/chair; strong Wi-Fi [and free for Priority Club levels].Conclusion¿¿¿highly recommended for lots of reasons.Suggestions¿¿¿go to the ninth floor [roof], mellow out, and stare at the Eiffel Tower and other sights for as long as you want to¿¿¿remembering Hemingway¿¿¿s famous quote: ¿¿¿Wherever you go the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.¿¿¿

Great location!
This hotel has all you can expect from a Holiday Inn, and at a great location. From there you are a short walk from Notre Dame Church, Louxemburg Garden, Hotel de Ville, etc. There was many cafe's and restaurants at the neighborhood. Our room ( executive room) had a good size and all amenities, including free wi-fi. The bathroom was very small, but comfortable. At night, it was very calm, absolutely no noisy, and we had excellent night sleep. However, the bathroom door is made of glass, so there's a lack of privacy and our room sometimes had a bad smell ( maybe from the carpet). We complaint, but there's no solution. We had also one problem with the housekeeping: they went in our room when we are there sleeping in the morning at least three times. I had to talk about it with the reception desk and they apologized. Seems they only clean the rooms in the morning. If you want to sleep more, they 'll keep waking you every morning to clean the room, unless you advertise them to not do that.

Spotless Hotel in Unbeatable Location
My fiance and I spent four nights here in early April for the first leg of our stay in Paris. As a Platinum Elite member, we received an upgrade to an Executive Suite. Pros: 1. There was plenty of room to lay our things. Without the upgrade, I suspect the rooms may be a bit tight for US standards. 2. Superb location. We were mere minutes away from multiple metros and sights. The area can feel a bit touristy, but we liked the hustle and bustle. 3. The building itself is tucked away on a side street, so there were no problems with noises keeping us awake at night. 4. The rooftop deck provides a lovely view of the city, including the Eiffel Tower. 5. We found all but one of the staff members to be extremely friendly and helpful. Cons:1. The bathroom was contemporary and clean, but I really dislike the hotel trend towards using a pane of glass to shield the shower area but doesn't completely enclose it. If we didn't place a towel on the floor just right, the bathroom can become drenched. 2. We also weren't fans of a glass window separating the bathroom and sleeping area. It doesn't block out light and sound as well as a plain ol' wall. 3. The sink stopper doesn't close completely which can be a problem if you want to wash clothes by hand.
