Value for money
Stayed here 5th May 2013. This hotel is situated around 4km from Dublin City Centre and is in a quiet yet populated part of the area. It is your typical hotel, 5 to 7 floors with prices ranging from 60Euro per room per night. Grand and up-market large reception / hall entrance. Room was clean, spacious well equipped and the beds are extremely comfortable. ONLY downside was the extremely noisy extractor fan in the bathroom. If you book to stay here why not ask specifically for a room to the front - it overlooks the Irish sea - what a view!Staff - VERY friendly and very helpful. Bar and restaurant (PJ's) attached with possibly the cheapest drinks in Dublin (Expensive City due to the Euro)

Perfectly nice hotel
My husband and I stayed two nights here during the Navy/Notre Dame football game.Hotels were going fast, and by the time we booked, we didn't have a whole lot of choices. This place met all our needs. It's not fancy, or super posh, but it had a fairly comfortable bed.The carpet was a bit threadbare, old style tv and telephone. It was basically just the kind of hotel you'd find in any non-pretentious smaller city. The only issue we ran into was that the elevator was not working for a good portion of our stay. We ended up having to carry our bags down the stairs on the day of our departure.Walking distance to several pubs, and a (long) walk to Avia stadium.

Ideal for Our Stay
Stayed here with friends a while back as we were attending a concert, got a great rate online hence why I booked, staff were lovely and the pub grub was nice. Room could do with re-decorating, our iron was in a bad way and the tv looked as if it had hit da floor once or twice, we didn't mind though as we only stayed there to sleep, overall grand hotel for the price I paid, would stay with friends again but not if I was away for a relaxing break with my partner.

cheap and in a comfortable position
Tara towers hotel is a simple hotel. The staff in the reception, also the cleaning people, were very friendly. The best at this hotel, is that it is located in a very good position. Its about 20 minutes with the bus from Trinity College and Grafton steet and the busses 4 and 7 pass very often, exactly out of the hotel. Also the blue buss from and to the airport, passes exactly infront of the hotel. The food is nothing special, and the breakfast is not included. I really enjoyed the view of my room to the sea. For sure, the owner must refresh the rooms and the bathroom, but really there was not big problem. It is a 3 star hotel, clean enough, with realy friendly people. The check in and out was very fast, and its a good choice for a few days at Dublin

Served a purpose
Got a Thursday night single room stay for ¿¿¿42 through e-bookers - stay for a business meet the following morning locally - room was perfectly fine, a little outdated but very comfortable bed and room good and warm. Giving 4 out of 5 based on the price, have stayed here before so knew what to expect - will stay again if I can get the same deal.
