I found out about this hotel whilst staying at sister hotel Lami at Pont d'esplugues in feb.It's a 2 min walk from Metro Guinardo hospital Sant Pau.Amrey have that something special,from their excellent warm welcome to their always available friendly service.We had an excellent room with a lovely balcony overlooking a historic university building.Breakfast was same as lami's plentiful and great choice of items for a supposed continental style.Coming from el prat airport to catalunya,then a short walk to passeig de gracia metro,the hotel is easily accessed on line4(yellow).It's a great place to stay in Barca and i can't wait to go back.Thank you Raul and all the staff at Amrey Sant Pau.

It should be 3 star hotel
Stay in April 23-26 for 3 nights after cruise, we only wait for about an hour as soon as the room is ready, the front desk staff gave us a very nice room with balcony. The location, the service from front desk staffs are excellent. Room is simple but clean and have every thing we need.Inter net work out very well with our two lap top and i-pad. Because the location we were able to visit practically every cornor of the city within 3 days.This hotel is as good as most of the reviewer said. We enjoyed the stay very much.I would recomend this hotel to fellow travelers to Barcelona Josephine from Huntington Beach, CA

City break Barcelona
Hotel was a 2 star, but a very good one at that. Rooms very clean and the hotel in general. Breakfast, a good selection of cold meats, cereals and cold pastries. Stays halfboard for 2 nights, but was not impressed with the evening meals on the set menu. The hotel is about a mile from the center. WIFI connection was very poor, all in all good value for money.

Excellent value and nice location
I was worried when I first booked the hotel about the location. I did not need to be worried at all. It was ideal with three of the metro lines in close walking distance. A 15 minute walk to La Sagrada. The hotel is clean and big rooms. I stayed in a double room. Modern furnishings and comfortable bed. The hotel staff friendly and welcoming. The hotels Cafe is good value and nice selection. I would reccomend this to anyone wanting to stay in a nice hotel in the wonderful city of Barcelona

Great
Room was nice and clean. Only a 15 minute walk to sagrada familia but there is a metro goes there too, good views of sant pau hospital. The reception staff were very nice and when we required ice for drinks in our rooms as there was no fridge, the bar staff were very helpful and gave us a carrier bag full of ice. Only downfall was we weren't lucky enough to get a room with a balcony. Overall great value for the money. The hotel is only 5 minute walk from the metro station and you can also get taxis immediately from across the road.
