I didn't get a chance to stay in this hotel
Because my flight was canceled. I called them immediately asking them if it was possible to change the booking, as we would be on the next flight, a couple of days later. I was ready to pay a penalty fee of course.Instead I received a brusque reply saying that the booking couldn't be changed, so we lost all the money.This could be the best hotel in Barcelona but I still wouldn't go there .. a little bit of customer service sometimes goes a long way.

Good Value
Just returned from a weekend stay at this hotel, the location although not in centre of Barcelona is a stones throw away from the Metro which is excellent and efficient so nowhere more than 15 mins away really. The staff on reception were so friendly and helpful and the rooms were cleaned and towels changed even though we only stayed 2 nights. Yes the walls are thin and you can hear doors closing and people talking in the corridor - we werent too bothered as the amount of walking we did we were so tired we slept through ! I found the cost was very reasonable and the continental breakfast we had one morning was plentiful sufficient and fresh, all in all i would recommend the hotel its a good base for some of the attractions and as i said earlier with the metro there was nowhere you couldnt reach in reasonable time.

SHORT BREAK
Just returned from long weekend - the staff were lovely the people on reception were so very helpful, the room was cleaned and towels changed even though only stayed 2 nights. The location was on the outskirts however the metro service was 2 mins walk away. This system is 2nd to none and once you get the hang of it there is nowhere more than about 15 mins away. The hotel was spotless, however noises from the hallway can be heard quite clearly and therefore if you are a light sleeper it may affect you - but after all the walking and fresh air it didnt bother us. There is a pedestrionised road nearby with bars etc and the Pharoh is lovely although take no notice of the sign saying English Breakfast - this was hamburger and chips!! All in all excellent value for money close to some of the tourist areas - and I would definitely recommend.

Wow the walls are very thin!
Before going I read reviews and people had said the wall were thin but not as thin as they actually were! First night the other couple that came with us came to our room for a quite chat and night cap it was half 10 ish if not earlier we had a phone call to our room asking us to be quiter which without not talking at all is not possible so turns out use of our hotel we got was to sleep staff were quite snotty and abrupt and overall the location is brilliant and distance from the tube brilliant I still would really recommend as we felt we could not relax in the building and had to stick to bed time :( I would say listen to reviews on wall thickness as I sadly didn't and thought people may of just exaggerated.

SMALL
It was convenient to walking street and metro but the rooms were so small and the walls THIN. I read that before I left but I had no idea walls could be that thin. The room was clean and it did have an elevator. The hotel said they would have a blowdryer in the room, There was not, I had to get one from the front desk, it did not work. I never got one the entire time I was there :(
