Fantastic location
We stayed here for three nights as part of our Authentic Ireland tour. I had emailed the hotel to tell them that my husband was making his first trip back to Ireland in 45 years. They kindly left us a bottle of wine and a welcome home letter.The room was lovely. A yummy full Irish breakfast set us up for the day. Home made cake was always available at the front desk, and delicious shortbread cookies, tea and coffee were ready at all times. We were able to easily walk to St. Stephen's Green and make our way to the city centre.Great location.

Great little B&B
As many other reviewers have stated, the rooms and rest of the hotel are very clean and comfortable. The location is wonderful - close enough to walk to the centre of things, but removed enough that you're not bothered by noise. I would definitely stay again. Other reviewers mention the staff's level of friendliness: I would say that the staff are not as outwardly friendly as staff at other B&Bs I've stayed in in Ireland, but are more business-like, as staff at a hotel would be. And while I was on holiday and the lack of wi-fi was probably a good thing, I will agree with others: it seems rather strange that they don't have free wi-fi. But again: I was kind of glad, as I stayed away from my email for a few days!

Lovely Boutique Hotel - Fabulous breakfast!
I live in Dublin and have passed this hotel many times over the years so when the occasion arose to stay at the hotel I was curious. A lot of big hotels have sprung up in Dublin city over the last few years, swamping some of the smaller boutique hotels, but the Pemroke Townhouse is a little gem! From the convenient parking (considering the hotel is in the city I had presumed no parking) to the friendly staff and very welcoming manager Fiona, to the DELICIOUS breakfast (it's worth going for the breakfast alone!) it all added up to a most enjoyable stay. Granted the rooms are small, but they have the charm and ambience of a converted townhouse, which you just don't get in big hotels. This lovely cosy hotel is only a short stroll to the city centre so the location is prefect. If you like mod cons and big rooms then go for a bigger hotel. But if you like a touch of old world charm, cosy, clean and friendly with delicous home cooked food, then this is definitely the hotel for you.

Good location; no free wifi?
My husband and I stayed here during the Dublin leg of our Ireland trip. The location was good, only 15 minute walk or a short bus ride to major attractions like St. Stephens Green and Trinity College. The rooms were spotless, and spacious, though oddly shaped (not uncommon with old buildings). The tea, coffee, and cookies were delicious and a nice added touch. Also, there was free parking, which was helpful. The two things that were disappointing; the staff was not unfriendly per se, but didn't seem overly welcoming. Also, there was no free wifi. There is free wifi on the buses and at most pubs and restaurants, so it seems a bit stingy that they don't offer it at the hotel. If those two things were fixed, it would be a solid 4.5 stars.

Extremely friendly staff, nice location
I was in Dublin for a short trip and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! The hotel is in a quiet part of the city and yet is around 15' walk from St. Stephen's Green which isn't too bad. Also, it is quite close to the Aviva Stadium so anyone interested in gigs there is very well placed as well.We booked a junior suite which is a duplex room with a sofa bed and a double. Krystina, the lady at the reception, couldn't be more helpful! We booked on Thomas Cook's website and somehow it wasn't communicated to them that we'll be travelling with children and hence they gave us a room which didn't have a sofabed in working order. However Krystina not only made sure that we get another room, she opened up another room for us whilst we wait so that we could change our kids into night suits and feed my infant. We made several other requests over the course of the stay and every request was fulfilled in a jiffy! Also, she was kind enough to offer complementary breakfast for the two nights we were there which would have cost around ¿¿¿70!The double bed was very comfortable, the shower extremely powerful and the hotel extremely clean. I wouldn't mind staynig there again at all as Krystina made sure that our stay becomes memorable! Thank you Krystina!
