The London branch of the H10 group performs very well. It is rather new and offers agreable and practical interior design, from the tub faucet to the automatic entrance door. Nothing tangled us in the room or around. Abundant breakfast, perfectly neat spaces, very good communication (Maura, Tommy). Worth every penny. Congratulations!

Decent hotel
I was here for a conference at QEII centre, and came in to Waterloo, so this was ideally placed, and Covent Garden's just over the river for the evenings. Room was nice, clean, modern, relatively minimalist. Not an overly luxurious hotel buy any means, it is nonetheless a decent place to stay for a couple of days. Internet is free and works everywhere, staff are friendly and efficient.Decent breakfast.

Fantastic hotel. We loved it.
I have to say, we simply had a brilliant experience at H10 London Waterloo. We booked a one night stay at a reduced price as part of a deal including dinner and breakfast, but I would be happy to pay the full price any day. Upon arrival we were offered a glass of cava and all of the staff were helpful and polite. (We'd turned up in jeans and with backpacks; I know some staff at other 'nicer' hotels might have turned their noses up at this but we felt very welcomed.) The hotel reception area itself is bright and modern. By happy accident we were updated to a deluxe room, rather than the standard room we were expecting. The room was everything you would expect; stylish with a large, comfortable bed and a TV, lovely bathroom etc. We had a great view of London from our room aswell, with the London Eye just in eyeshot. There was also an ipod docking station which was really cool and easy to use (I had my iphone with me). I also liked that there was an expresso/coffee machine rather than just a kettle. In the bathroom there were fluffy dressing gowns and slippers - I don't think you find these in the standard rooms, definitely worth the upgrade! There was also a larger than usual selection of bits and bobs in the bathroom (shampoo and lotions etc.) which was a nice surprise. We hadn't been in our room for 10 minutes when there was a knock at the door and a lady handed me a welcome letter and a bag of 'VIP' nuts. This was lovely; I think it was the little things that really made our stay extra special. Dinner in the evening was a little more, well, formal than we are used to. The waiter brought out a bucket of ice on a stand for our wine bottle and presented the bottle for us to check. To be honest, I know very little about wine. He offered for us to taste it first but we declined. The food itself was good, though as we were choosing from a set menu our options were very limited. The restaurants usual menu is more... continental? Would that be the right word? The set menu was very English. I was a little disappointed as I had spotted Tapas on the main menu but ended up with a caesar salad and roast pork. The portion sizes were small, as expected; great if fancy food is what you're into but not so great if you're really hungry.Breakfast, on the other hand, was not disappointing at all. The selection of food on offer was huge. You could have a cooked breakfast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, muffins, churros and chocolate, cheese, cured meat and more. It was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had, without a doubt. As for location, H10 London Waterloo is pretty central. There are 2 train stations within walking distance and Covent Garden is less than 10 minutes away. Not bad at all. The hotel also has a gym and a rather trendy looking bar and lounge which we unfortunately didn't get around to using, but might be of interest. All in all we had a fantastic stay and I would definitely recommend H10.

Good value hotel in London
H10 has been my hotel of choice in London for a while now, with an excellent location just 5 minutes walk from Waterloo allowing easy access to both the city and Westminster for business travelers It features comfortable, well-equipped bedrooms, a decent restaurant and lobby bar, and friendly reception staff. Its a Spanish hotel and well-run, with a good and varied breakfast buffet. Wired or wi-fi internet access is available and free throughout the hotel. Its decor is relatively modern. Prices have increased a bit over the time I've been using it, so it isn't always the best value price v quality anymore, and there don't seem to be enough staff at breakfast so several times during my recent stay I had to go in search of my own tea which is supposed to be brought to you. But minor gripes in an overall very highly recommended hotel in London.

Good all round hotel
I picked this hotel separately from a course I was attending near the Shard and I was not disappointed - there was a good choice for breakfast, nicely decorated room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner was tasty and the wifi worked well. Location is good too, close to either Waterloo or Southwark tube stations.I have read other reviews about this being a predominantly 'Spanish" hotel - it didn't make any difference to my stay or review for that matter. The slight issues I have is, the gym is exactly as you see it in the photos - very small. Plus the sliding door into the bathroom is narrow.
