Fantastic staff and stay
We have enjoyed this great hotel for the past year, as we have been staying here once a month since our daughter has been a student at SUNY Plattsburgh. Each trip, we have been greeted by a wonderful desk staff who has been so friendly and accommodating. Chelsea and all of the crew are just super. Rooms look brand new and now, with the entire hotel non-smoking, so fresh and clean. We stay at many hotels throughout the year and this Microtel is the best deal for the money you will find anywhere. The manager has done an excellent job of selecting an outstanding group of employees and in maintaining and constantly improving this hotel. We just hope it doesn't get so popular that we can't get a room, since there is no better hotel in the entire area. Thanks for making all of our stays so great!

return visit - still satisfied
We have stayed here a number of times and always have had a suite (for three). This time we had a much smaller room, a 'cozy' queen on the front side of the building. It was clean and attractive. The morning breakfast buffet now has added some healthy items (fresh fruit) and improved their cereals (added Cherrios). They have brown bread and peanut butter...so something for everyone. We enjoyed our two nights and will return.

Very Satisfied, Would Stay Again!
Stayed in Plattsburgn on May 7th, 2013, after staying in another Microtel on the previous night. Totally night and day in comparing the two hotels. . Greeted by professional, pleasant staff. Room was clean & comfortable. Free local and long distance calls within the US. Even the free coffee was excellent! Breakfast wasn't much to brag about, but I'm not complaining. The rest of the hotel seemed clean & up to date. I enjoyed the stay,and will stay there again.
