What a find!
The staff at this hotel is amazing and friendly and the beds are very comfy. We chose the hotel bc it was the closest hotel to the subway in Long Island City -the F line which was only 4 stops into the city. Ideally I would have preferred to stay in manhattan, however I didn't want to fork over the additional $100 a night to do so! We felt very safe walking back and forth from the subway to the hotel and happy to see the night patrol officer that stood out front at night. If you want to grab a quick - and free- breakfast, make sure you do so early or plan to take it back to your room as the breakfast area is small. Our room had a refrigerator so we grabbed extra yogurt and fruit to keep on hand for a snack. I would recommend this hotel to those in a large group or to those familiar with getting around NYC. If its your first visit to the city and you plan to return to your room throughout the day, you are better off spending the extra money to stay in the city.

Decent place to not too far from Manhattan
Reasonably good hotel for the given price. Check in was smooth and fast. Actually checked in a couple of hours before check in time and there was no waiting time. Hotel premises neat and clean. We stayed in kings suite. Room was big enough to accommodate an extra bed. Carpet in the room and linen in good condition. 40 " TV with 24 US channels. View from room located in front side of hotel not great. Bath room in good condition. Very neat and clean. Towels are in acceptable condition. Hotel close to F line metro. Did not find it safe to walk outside after dark as the area around the hotel is not very upmarket. Service is not exactly great as we had to ask two or three times for any requirement. Breakfast was just about adequate with not much choice. Wifi was free and fast .

Reasonable price - quality relation !
The most important thing in hotel is that you can sleep there and in that sense there is nothing to complain; bed was good, room was quiet and the temperature was pleasant. Pretty soon I kind of got bored to the breakfast: very sugary things and almost nothing fresh. The service was OK.

Nice stay in NY:
We stayed in the hotel the first week of april. Room is clean, the beds are good. Service very good. Breakfast o.k., but breakfastroom is very small, sometimes we have to wait for a table. The street is very noisy (not attractive) so we could not open the window during the night. The subway is a 5 min. walk.and it is 10 min. to down town Manhattan! Diner nearby: very good! Will be back next visit.

Convenient location, free wifi
Very nice hotel for the given price. The breakfast premises can get busy in the morning, but the food supplied is very good. The luggage storage is offered for a small fee. Subway is conveniently located nearby.
