[--] by the highway
This hotel should be ashamed to change money for a stay. If you're looking for a sad, [--] hotel on a highway, this is the place for you! The rooms are barebones- no blankets, one towel, stains on the carpet, sad decor. The service is terrible. The restaurant is terrible (they typically serve a buffet for all meals and it's a sad excuse for Italian cuisine. Most of the dishes look as if they came from a can. A very old can.) The "fitness center" or "relax area" as they to refer to it is a smelly questionable pool, an old treadmill, an old stationey bike, and a weight machine, all on the pool deck. Just what I enjoy while exercising: humidity and the smell of chlorine and water-born disease! Good thinking guys. They charge for absolutely EVERYTHING- you want to borrow an umbrella? 5 euros please. You want to use a conference room? That'll be an extra charge on your room please. I was even fortunate enough to receive a telephone call at 3:45 am from the front desk asking to connect me to someone who was asking for me. The person on the other line was clearly not looking for me as they sounded as if they were speaking Japanese and did not understand English. Thanks NH Villanova for a terrible stay in your [--] hotel! I wouldn't be surprised if I develop a staff infection after patronizing your establishment. I cannot actually believe I paid you money. Never again. NEVER AGAIN.

Excellent stay
The hotel is a bit far from the city center, therefore not advisable for tourists who want to easily reach the downtown city.My stay was really wonderful: the rooms are incredibly large and comfortable, with separate small room for luggage and vests, at a very low rate through website booking. Nothing is really missing for an excellent stay, there's a nice swimming pool with gym facilities open until 22:00. The ambience and its cleaniness are really good, the room is quiet and warm, breakfast has a variety of choice that can satisfy anyone.I strongly recommend it.

well that was a disappointment
I stayed here because of work. It is quite far from the city center of Bologna, with no signs of public transportation. We had to call a taxi, which starts the meter from when you call. It cost us about 25 euro to get into town. There is no room service and quite often no one at the bar or the front desk if you need anything. The buffet was expensive at 25 euros for left out pasta no really worth the cost. The room is out dated, but functional. It was very hot in the room and I was lucky that someone before me had pried the window lock off so it could open. Otherwise it would have been unbearable. The internet was painfully slow and I was happy i had an italian sim card for my iphone to use instead. The bed is as hard as a rock and the pillow was extrememly flat. The upside to the hotel was that there is a grocery store next door and a small shopping mall with a few fast food options.

Avoid
This hotel is clean, nice and modern and that is where it stops. It is a long way out of the city centre. Taxis are very expensive it would have been cheaper to stay in the city centre and saved on the taxi fares. The hotel is in an industrial estate there were hardly any facilities in the Hotel. I asked the reception where I could get a coffee and they looked blank and told me there was a cafe 10 minutes away. Breakfast was very poor.

Stylish, well-equiped hotel with good service! But the location is bad.
We stayed there a night. I can say that this hotel could pretend to 5 stars, but it's a one-day opinion, so don't judge me very strictly. The reception is very fast, friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautifuly equiped with stylish furniture, but beds are very uncomfortable and small. There is a air-conditionner, LCD and a good bathroom.Maybe one of the strongest privileges of this hotel, that it has a free wifi in lobby(that is very rare in Italy: or they don't have wifi or it's paid). The buffet is very beautiful and the service is on high degree. They have also a big indoor pool.Overall this hotel is on of the best in Bologna, but the location is the worst sides of this hotel. It's very far from the center of the city, and it's nearly unpossible to get to the city by public transport.So, if u want to just stay in a excellent hotel for a night or two, it's perfect! But if you want to explore the city, you have to choose other hotel in city.
