We stayed at this Hotel in Amsterdam for 2 nights 20-22 May 2013. It was a birthday treat for a special birthday. After reading reviews we were a little apprehensive about our stay but our fears were unfounded. The hotel was very central for the City centre, in a lovely square surrounded by various types of restaurants. Our room was on the 6th floor at the back of the hotel, which had been requested. It was very quiet and comfortable with everything we needed. We didn't eat at the hotel as there were plenty of eating places near. We would recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again.

Nice place, great location
The place is really nice. It is a bit on "classic" (not modern) side, but on the other hand it is not shabby or nothing like that. Rooms are nice and spacious, clean. It is located right on the Rembrandt square. Lots of people in front of the hotel, but it is sill quiet and you can sleep no problem - good noise isolation.

Good hotel in good location
We were in Amsterdam in mid-April for 3 nights. Hotel is located right on the square Vurembrand. My request for an interior room facing the square and it was a wonder I got no problem room with courtyard views very pleasant and very afflicted, especially from considering the square itself is noisy factories and most of the day. Room was really good, clean and modern with two large windows and a large bathroom tidy and well equipped. Well located hotel near the flower market and nearby bars and pubs.Very short walk to the city center and all the main attractions of the city. Also within walking distance about 15 minutes to the museum. Breakfast at the hotel we did not try, that has filled the square and its environs nice home including Starbucks Coffee, which was very very beautiful and stylish, and is a large square structure belongs of Booking.comRecommend the hotel as a hotel and a very good level place.

Better than most ,Make sure location is right for you ?
Friendly and helpful front of house ,nice clean airy rooms ,Breakfast is fair the same everyday mind you and the bacon grey but what you'd expect. Try not to stay at the front of the Hotel as there maybe noise from the square .There are a few cafes and places to eat on the doorstep and dam square is about 15 mins walk depending what you've been up to not a bad thing and you get to know more of the area .Overall nice atmosphere, good location clean good sized rooms a good 7 and a half out of 10.
