The Best in Laughlin By Far
We stayed at the Aquarius for 3 nights arriving on Mother's Day. This was our first visit to the Aquarius since it was the Flamingo. Previously we had stayed in the Flamingo for over 200 nights. We stayed at Harrah's in Laughlin in December for 4 nights.Our first impression was from valet parking and the bellman Mark. Mark was great going out of his way to make our checkin as easy as possible. We had a river view room in the California Tower on the 17th floor. The room was nice and clean and everything worked. It has a very comfortable bed.I rented a mobility scooter at the Bell desk, The casino is very nice with a wide variety of machines. It does have full pay quarter Jacks or Better Video poker which is pretty rare, especially in Nevada. They are more common in the California casinos. My wife and I did pretty well in the machines, especially when we found the good ones.We ate all our meals at the cafe. We didn't try the buffet as we are not buffet fans. The food was for the most part pretty decent. The prime rib dinner special, which they have every day, is very good at a very reasonable price.Overall the service was very good.They comped us for everything including the scooter rental.

A Fun Place by the Colorado River
My Wife and I just stayed at the Aquarius Casino Resort on the Colorado River in Laughlin, Nevada. The owners have been upgrading the facility since they bought it a few years ago. The rooms are upgraded and overlook the Colorado River. The entire casino was redone and a pleasure to be in. The staff are very friendly and willing to accomdate any request. Besides gambling, food and drink we enjoyed the new river walk and jet skiing. The buffet has a wonderful selection of food and the seating overlooks the river. I rented jet skis from "Best Jets" at "Davis Camp" across the river in Bullhead City. Laughlin is a fun place to be if you want to gamble and Las Vegas too much glitter. I'm looking forward to going back.

Don't waste your time
We were looking forward to our first stay at the Aquarius and sad to say were very disappointed. The customer service at the front desk at check in was awful. The room was decent upon first look, then you start to see the issues....the mini fridge wasn't cleaned out from the previous guest, the door handle on the bathroom was falling off, the tub didn't drain so when taking a shower it would overflow, the hairdryer has loose wires and didn't work right, the beds were way too hard. The casino was nice and the drinks plentiful (if you like that). The buffet food was 50/50 some good some bad (like I don't really know what this is). When we checked out the next day, we had told the lady at the front desk very politely that there were a few things that needed attention in the room we stayed and she ignored what we said and promtly rolled her eyes at us. We didn't complain, but rather decided it was a lesson not to stay there again.

Not as good as last time
We were here 2 years ago. The rooms are starting to show some wear. The bed was ok and I had no backache the next morning. The staff was very friendly. This is probably the last time we will stay here. I'm thinking that we will give the Tropicana across the street a try. The Aquarius is centrally located and that's a plus but we just didn't have a good time. The slots are pretty tight also which didn't help matters any. We ate at the Outback and the food there was like any other Outback ( Marginal at best ). Longhorn is much better but I don't think they have a very big presence out west. Breakfast was in their caf¿¿ and it was good though a bit pricy. All in all I can't say don't go here but I'm probably not going to again.

Another average Casino
Smoke & mirrors don't make for a great resort, as the lobby of this hotel is just one big casino. We stayed here years ago & thought we'd check it out since they made all their updates. It's centrally located which is a plus. With all the improvements, still fall short .........
