Great wonderful place to stay
The hotel's location is fantastic - it is about 5-10 minutes walk to the underground and there are many shops/food stalls near the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed at the 2nd floor for the first 3 nights of my stay and was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the penthouse suite on the last night when my mom joined me. The penthouse has a great view of the Lock and it was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, the penthouse's aircon was not working that night but we still had a good sleep because someone brought us a fan. The second floor room has a side view of the Lock and it can be noisy if there are many people drinking at the bar next to the hotel. In short, I had a great stay at the hotel and will definitely return if I am in the area again.

FAB!!
Just back after my 4th stay-actually excelled my previous faultless stays.I've stayed in numerous 5 star hotels who should be headhunting every member of staff here(please dont)-Eddy,Anna Maria,Frederica,Natasha(I think that was her name) 1st class customer service that I honestly have never experienced before-too many to mention!! Fab location,wonderful room with canal view,great breakfast-if Carlsberg did hotels.......wonderful-thank-you so much

Made to feel like a VIP!
Once again, faultless. We were upgraded to a room with a wonderful view of the Lock.The staff are always very welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay a special one. A bottle of Red Wine in the room with a welcome message. The duty manager spoke to us to make sure that everything was ok, and if we needed anything now or if we stay again, just to contact her and she would make sure everything went as smoothly as usual.We were in a Deluxe this time, which was a good size. last time we stayed in one of the suites which, if you can afford to upgrade I would recommend as it is fantastic sitting on your balcony looking at the hustle and bustle of Camden mixed with the tranquillity of the barges on the canal. The breakfast was great, full English, Cold meats, Danish, Fruit etc.The location couldn't be better! It really is in the middle of it all! Easy to get to the tubes and so many bars, restaurants to choose from along with hundreds of market stalls and shopsIt is a very short scenic walk along the canal to Regents Park and Zoo and a little further to Little Venice.Only two stops from Kings Cross - so most areas very easy to access by Tube.I have rated sleep as 4 as it is Camden and can be a little noisy, but it did not affect us and the curtains blacken the room tooOnce again Thank you Camdeners for what is a very memorable break away, :)

Great Hotel near Camden market
Super hotel. Great location in the center of the northern district Camden. A few 100m from the subway station away. In about 15 minutes. in central London. Great bars and nightlife. Many restaurants in the area and the unique Camden market. Already the second time at this Hotel. Would recommend to everyone!

If you enjoy the neighborhood
The hotel is nice. Clean and modern, close to Camden High Street and the Lock of course. Nice staff. But yet - if you visit London to experience other areas of the city - not so convenient. The location is far from the main tourist areas, and connected by just the Northern Line. Which was closed due to repairs that weekend, as it often is. We went by minicab, and considering the cost and the time spent travelling, i will rather pay a higher price for a room with a more central location next time.
