Budget hotel not budget prices
Stayed for the rugby and expected the prices to be high but you do also expect a minimum standard. We had two rooms 308 - no light shades curtain pole wobbly and squint etc and 311 - toilet seat brokenBoth rooms tiny twin beds pushed together and nowhere else to go with them, showers no water pressure, glass shelf above wash hand basin don't allow taps to open fully etc etc 334euros for two nights room only - at least double what it should have beenOn the positive side location is good and the beds are comfy

Avoid Room 111
We stay here regularly but had an unpleasent experience this time around - Room 111 is tiny & the carpet is very badly stained so this made a poor impression for any paying guest. Also the noise from the street was very loud so if you are a light sleeper ask for a room away from street. We had booked this accommodation since December 2012 and were staying 2 nights - I have often got much bigger & nicer rooms when I booked last minute and at reduced rates. On the positive side the staff are very friendly and helpful; breakfast was very tasty and secure free car-parking is much appreciated (albiet limited spaces)

Fantastic Value
I recently stayed here with my wife as we were doing a small tour of Ireland. Overall we were very impressed with the level of service we were given, the cleanliness of the hotel and quality of the food. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the staff and we really felt that we were very welcome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in or around Dublin and if your stay is as good as ours you will not be disappointed.

The Perfect place to stay!
We stayed at the Dublin city inn for 2 nights in March 2013 and I can not recommend this hotel enough. We stayed for my friends hen do and the hotel could not have been more helpful. Everything we asked of them, they were more than happy to do. We posted balloons and decorations for the room which they kindly put in our room along with a bottle of champagne. The rooms are a lovely size and clean and well presented. The location is just perfect for Dublin city centre, it's only a short walk to temple bar. This hotel is execellent value for money and i can't wait to go back- I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Very convenient for the city
Stayed here for 2 nights from 22nd March to 24th March for a city break. We took a flyer booking this hotel and we weren't disappointed. The location couldn't have been better for everything we wanted or needed to do in the city. It's close to all the major transport links i.e. buses from the Airport, city buses on O'Connell street, Luas tram, DART and even Heuston Station isn't too far away. All the staff we very friendly and helpful and the room was clean, warm and had everything we wanted. In fact the whole place was clean and tidy and is an interesting building. Very easy to miss the entrance though as it is very narrow and between shops. Talking of which right outside are all sorts of late night shops for drink, food etc and although there obviously is some late night noise from these its not too bad. Our only bad bit was a burglar alarm in a near by building that went off all night. The hotel staff informed the Gardai but typical 'Plod' they did nothing. Not a lot of sleep was had that night! Not the hotels fault but if noise is a problem for you dont get a room on the front. Having said this we would stay here again as price, location and personality more than compensated the minor problem.
