Great bargain
We stayed here in march 2013 for two nights and it was great. At the time I went to there website and found they had a deal going on. Sun-Thursday $69/night with breakfast then fri-sun $89 with breakfast. First, the rooms/bathroom were very clean. Housekeeping was great and friendly. Front desk very helpful with directions and recommendations. Shuttle will take you to strip. Cafe they have is not cafe food. We were amazed at the quality of the food that came out of the kitchen. Each station had its own cook and 1or2 people helping with prep work. The pasta and pizza came out tasty, hot and delicious. The breakfast included was a great starter, you get 2-3 eggs 2 sausages, 2 bacon, potatoes toast and coffee or juice.

Great place!
we were catered too as soon as we stopped in there. At this point we no longer have to pay for our rooms there. I love this place! The staff are wonderful and the food is great. The service that we have received was the best. the beds were to die for.

One night stay during Foodie Fest
Was there for the Las Vegas Foodie Fest held in the Silverton parking lot. Hotel was clean, rooms a little outdated. Front desk clerk was very friendly and welcoming. Free shuttle service to the airport was a plus. Saw $5 Black Jack tables; woo who! Had trouble with lights in the room; called front desk and they had someone fix it while I was at dinner.The Foodie Fest was great; White Castle was there selling sliders!!! Yeah!

Nice place to stay just down the strip
We stayed here in May 2012 and had no regrets. If you have a car, it is easy to get to the action on the strip in minutes. They do offer a shuttle to the strip but it can fill up fast. Rooms were clean and we enjoyed some quiet time at the pool. Only issue we had was some people were arrested in the room two doors down from us....not sure why or what happened. But they were quietly dealt with and we barely realized anything was going on. What I like is this is a smaller hotel so it is easy to get around and has a decent casino.

hidden gem
I travel to Vegas several times a year, and refer to Silverton as the "Pro Bass Shop Casino" . If you aren't determined to stay on the strip and appreciate a woodsy look, this casino/hotel is great. Parking and access to rooms is way better than the strip casinos (where valet in the best of them can take upwards of 20 minutes, or you can opt for the 20 minute walk from the parking area to your room). Additionally you aren't constantly crowded and ignored, but note that like most frequent Vegas visitors I am not looking to stay in the crowded mess that is the strip (although I certainly will visit it). I have stayed at most of the strip hotels, including, Paris, NYNY, TI, Excalibur, Luxor, Harrah's and Bellagio. The rooms are certainly as good as NYNY, Excalibur and Luxor. They have several restaurants, including a good Mexican restaurant, and chains like Johnny Rockets. Also, as a video poker player, the odds for me are better than the full on tourist areas.
