Mini Family reunion
Once or twice a year we come back to the Chicago area to visit our children and grandchildren who live in McHenry and Hainesville. So, Buffalo grove is a little far away from them (about 30 minutes). But your rates are teriffic and the staff are all very nice and friendly. The indoor pool is a giant plus since we bring the grandchildren over and it's a real treat for them to swim in April. Breakfast in your restaurant is usually good and the buffet is a good value. However, this time over the weekend portion of the stay we were not able to order certain items. We were told the waffle maker was broken and the heating element to cook poached eggs was not working. So that was somewhat disappointing. We had to go over to The Buffalo House. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel - clean, comfortable and QUIET!
We stayed at this hotel because it was close to my niece's wedding shower. We were amazed at how comfortable the rooms were and how unbelievably quiet the hotel was. My mom and I both slept until nearly 9 a.m. and we are both, normally, very early risers. Wonderful property - we will stay here again if we are in the area.
