Better than it looks
The room was actually pretty pleasant, the staff is very nice. The roomstaff forgot to empty my bathroom wastebasket after the guest before me left, but all in all, serviceable with decent location and free wifi and breakfast. Its kind of pricey in comparison with the other places in the area so shop....

Convenient to the BART.
LaQuinta in Dublin was pleasant and clean. The young woman who checked us in was very nice and very professional. She was also the person at the desk when we checked out 4 days later. Rooms were very nice and breakfast area was exceptionally nice. However, since we were there 4 nights it would have been nice to have more variety in the menu. Every day the hot food was waffles, sausage and biscuits. Would have been nice to have eggs or bacon or something else for a change of pace.Walking distance to the Bart was great since we were going downtown San Fran most days.Our major concern was that we requested adjoining rooms since there were six of us and instead we had one room on first floor and one on third floor. The nice young lady at the desk assured us that the next night we would have the adjoining rooms on third floor so the next morning before heading into the city we moved all our luggage to the third floor to our friends room. We checked at the desk before we left and they again assured us of the change. The maid was almost finished cleaning the room that we assumed would be ours. We left for the city and when we returned late that night we found we were back in our first floor room. When we went to the desk the girl apologized but couldn't make the changes.She also was answering the phone while talking to us and talking to the young man behind us instead of dealing with the situation. We gave up and once again moved our luggage with no offer of help from the staff. The next morning we asked to talk to the manager and were told the manager would not be available till 11:00 am and we would be in the city by that time. We remained in that room the rest of our stay. When we checked out we expressed our concerns to the pleasant young lady that had been at the desk when we arrived and she was very professional and apologized for the problem. She said that she had made it very clear to the staff that we were to be changed starting the second night of our visit and would be talking to the manager regarding the situation. We enjoyed our stay regardless and hope that management will solve the problems so that others won't have the same situation.

Great location, Next Door to PANCAKES! :)
In town for a family event, the La Quinta was so convenient in location, pricing, and great service! I appreciate the next door location to IHOP - Pancakes afterparty!! Breakfast provided by the hotel in the morning was so yummy too. Clean and quiet, I would definitely stay again!!

Perfect Location for Overnight Stay - Great Value!
We really like this hotel. It is so much more convenient than the big high rise hotels in Oakland/San Fran. Best reason to stay: They're an absolute amazing value! There's plenty of parking (no charge), they accept pets (no charge), they offer a full-buffet breakfast (no charge), and they are situated for easy off/on the freeway, and just over 1 mile from a huge shopping mall any restaurant you could imagine.The lobby is different from other LQ Inns, with a center wrought iron staircase that is very pretty and inviting. Their rooms are very nice (large with mini-kitchen) and clean. One blip (and maybe it was just our luck), the sheets on our bed were so old they felt like sandpaper (balled-up). I actually got up and put my sweats and socks on so I could sleep. Again, this hotel is a huge value, so maybe I don't expect 800 thread count, but these sheets had WORN out their welcome. That said, we'll be back again and again!
