Worth a punt
Me and my lady stayed here for 1 night, we wanted somewhere reasonably priced and central as we was going to the MEN arena to the beyonce concert, this ticked those boxes. The room was small but clean, adequate amount of towels and pillows provided. The room doesn't come with air con but a fan is provided and we sure had to put it to good use. There is no shower curtain provided only a static glass pane, although this looks the part it's unpractical as we both managed to soak the bathroom tiles whilst showering. The TV is wall mounted which is a plus, it does let the side down though with its limited channels (in total about 8 provided), it would most definately benefit from having digital freeview channels as standard. We looked to order room service, no menu is provided in the room it's displayed on the TV in a sort of teletext style slideshow, with no way to pause figuring out what you want to order can become frustrating. Once we'd figured it out we called down to order and quickly cancelled after realising it would cost in excess of ¿¿20 for 2 burgers, unfurtunately confusion in the kitchen meant the food was prepared, I made sure I spoke to reception about the error as I wasn't going to be charged for their mistake.Other than those few gripes our stay was pleasant, taxi was ordered from reception and arrived promptly, the hotel was clean and noise free. I would stay here again although I would be in no rush to do so.

Over priced for what should be a budget hotel.
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights although it was very clean the rooms were extremely small and poky one side of the bed was against the wall, we paid quite a lot per night and felt it wasn't worth the money, I wouldn't stay here again .

Great city stay
Stayed here with a friend for three nights and we were happy with our choice. The hotel is close to the centre, to the University, to the Palace Theatre and shops and bus stops are within walking distance. The room was quite small but clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, there was hardly any internet connection in the room itself. We had break-fast one morning and loved the choice at the buffet.

Claims of internet connection in all rooms not true
Convenient location close to Manchester Piccadilly station. Although the room was clean and comfortable and the general facilities were good the hotel failed in one major area. I was here on business and needed to work uninterrupted on documents in a quiet area. The Days Hotel web site says that every room has an internet connection, which is essential for me when I am travelling on business. I couldn't connect to any wifi and there was no obvious wired connection. When I asked at reception about this I was told that none of the single rooms have Internet connections but that I could use the wifi in the public areas - hardly the peaceful environment I needed to work in. For that reason I have given an overall rating of "poor". The description on their web site is currently misleading and needs to be changed.

Well located
For under ¿¿50 a night this hotel is a real bargain. Situated close to Piccadilly Railway Station and the city centre shops it would be hard to find a better location. The hotel is not pretentious, but is very clean, has friendly and efficient staff and is very well insulated from outside noise. I didn't eat here, but did see breakfast being served and it looked delicious. Highly recommended if you are looking for great value without too many bells and whistles.
