Excellent
Stayed here on a Saturday night . The girls at the desk were quite efficient and helpful . Speedy check-in. Spacious and clean room . Nice view of the dock and city airport .Get a room on top floors if you want a good view of the river or the landing/take off of the planes . But had difficulty finding parking space . Insufficient complimentary parking space compared to the size of the hotel.Overall good experience and pleasant stay .

Good hotel for Excel
Used this hotel while at an exhibition in Excel. Very good rooms (I was kindly upgraded to a suite), good breakfast and friendly staff.Would also recommend this hotel for short breaks to London as it is 5 minutes walk from DLR station.

Another excellent stay
It's sadens me to see reviews of 'grotty'&'poor service' with 'rude staff' I sometimes wonder what sort of people are staying here. Maybe those with white sticks?There is NO WAY this hotel is grotty in any way! The staff are exceptional. We checked out in the morning and were planning on taking a walk up to the docks. We asked if it was still ok to leave our car in their car park which they replied 'of course'. They didn't have to do that!The staff are all polite here and each and everyone that you walk past will greet you. The beds are one of the most comfortable out of all hotels we have stayed In. The room was lovely and over looking the river. We request the same room every time and its never a problem. If you don't like breakfast then you have to be the fussiest person on the planet!!!! There's something for everyone that's all great quality. The waiters come round and pour you as many cups of coffee as you wish. Don't be put off by the small minded people. This hotel is simply one of the best!

very hard beds and pillows
Extremely HARD beds and pillows (I take my own pillows) The bed was so hard that I felt like I was sleeping on a wall and I was going to fall off. The Ramada in Bristol is the same. We booked into the Ramada because it was the only place with vacancies in the Docklands London. I will never stay in one in Europe again. They seem to be ok in Asia. but here? solid hard beds - I did not sleep all night but got up with a crooked neck. It was so bad I nearly slept in the car.The rooms are not that special either and breakfast just passable-if your hungry. I will not stay in a European Ramada again. Too expensive for what is on offer.

Rude personnel
The rude front desk personnel destroyed my 3 nights at Ramada Docklands. They over charged my stay, claimed that they didn't do any thing wrong and became very rude when I complained. These "Russian" girls should be sent on training! I don't know if they was trying some "trix" because when I ask to talk to the front desk manager she corrected the error! So please check your bill in this hotel when you are leaving!!!
