Clean, comfortable and convenient
We stayed here in February, 2013. During our stay there was a major snowstorm. The hotel made accomodations to have their maids stay at the hotel during the storm, so we received full service despite the bad weather. Having the refrigerator and microwave in the room was very convenient, as we brought in food in advance of the storm. The underground parking was especially nice to have with the bad weather. We are planning another stay at this hotel soon.

Comfortable and convenient
We stayed here for one night while visiting our daughter in Manhattan. I don't like to drive in the city, so taking the metro north railroad is a good option. The hotel has a free shuttle to the rail station. The only downside is the shuttle stops running at 10pm, and it is nearly impossible to go out for dinner in NYC and get a train back to Tarrytown prior to the deadline. There are taxis. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. My husband is a platinum member and we are very familiar with Marriott properties. This did not disappoint. The rooms were clean and comfortable beds, the hotel is fairly new and looks very up to date. We were traveling with our family, I would not choose to stay here if it was a couple's weekend away for the hotel is very busy with families and teams staying here for tournaments. The breakfast area is large, but was very crowded, the personnel did an excellent job keeping the breakfast well stocked. It is right off the highway and we didn't have to pay for the Tappan Zee bridge. In the morning we were ready to head north again. The pool is small and the spa is closed due to new regulations, just an FYI.

LOVE this hotel!!!!!
Absolutely fabulous hotel!!!! A little drive from the city, but great location and reasonably priced. Beautiful, spacious, clean room, was like a mini suite. Clean beds...no signs of bugs and yes I always check!!!! Great staff, very pleasant! Would most definitely stay here again!

Great Stay...Great hotel
My wife and I stayed at the Springhill Suites for a weekend getaway. The hotel was clean, staff was very professional and the rooms were great! The breakfast was plentiful and the price was reasonable. Only complaint was the rooms above us were very noisy, but I don't attribute that to the hotel, just rowdy guests. Don't eat at the restaurant..we were told all the food was frozen and heated when ordered. There is a Friday's half mile from the hotel. Free Wifi was a added bonus. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!!

LOVE... LOVE... LOVE IT HERE...
Planning my Wedding and needed a hotel for our Out of Town Guests...We orignally were with the Hampton Inn, Tarrytown, but they were like the hotel from Hell. My (now) husband and I knew that we needed to make changes and quick. We attended a Bridal show a month prior to our wedding and met Lilibhet from The Springhill Suites, she's a sales manager; there she was handing out soft baked cookies and wrapped hard candies from her hotel. We had told Lili that we already had our hotel but we were regretting our decision of selecting that particular Hampton Inn. She began telling ua all about the newly renovated hotel and the benefits that we could have gotten. I began to tear up. My husband and I made the decision to go with the Springhill just three weeks shy of the wedding. The staff was wonderful, they accomodated us exactly like they said they would. The hotel was beautiful and clean. It was much more spacious than the Hampton Inn, plus we had free use of the Breakfast area and the kitchen for our meet and greet. Everything was just perfect. Very thick walls, good selection of breakfast (hot and cold), friendly staff, Wonderful stay....
