Nice place, Bad location
I couldn't find the place and I had to drive 3 times down Route 1 to Lynn to turn around. I finally asked someone and they told me to go around again ...

Nice place, Bad location
I couldn't find the place and I had to drive 3 times down Route 1 to Lynn to turn around. I finally asked someone and they told me to go around again and enter through the Friday's parking lot. The sign was almost impossible to see because of the foliage covering it. Plus it blended in to the Friday's sign because it was red. It was next to those giant power lines and a swamp. The buildings were nice (newly renovated). I was going to take my dog, but it was $100 extra. Also, pool is outdoors, so it wasn't open when I went. The service was great, the waffles were great. I had a studio suite and it was hard for my kid because she had to sleep on the sofa bed, (basically no bed, all metal). It was graduation weekend, so it was hard to find a room, but this place is good. I'm glad I stayed here. Not to mention, it had a kitchen (range, microwave, fridge, sink and glassware). Really nice place, just location wasn't very good, really nice service, very clean. Good price, I will stay here again, but just in the 2 bedroom suite.

Nice place, tough area
The hotel is not a bad property at all but the location sucks. Its route 1 north and that means going south and namely to Logan Airport requires some manuvering. The location is just plain bad in my opinion. Rooms were fine, comoputer area and breakfast included so it looked like a typical Residence Inn.

in need of remodelling
While the staff was quite pleasant and very accommodating, I'm not sure i';ll return if only because of the odd location and aged amenities. The lobby and eating area is quite old and a very tight space. The room was dark and dull, which always makes me suspicious. It appeared to be clean but the finish on the tub was quite worn so it had some stains. As for the location, you must drive through a Costco parking lot to find the hotel and it's smack between 2 highways and an off ramp - so expect lots of traffic noise. The staff was nice but frankly, this is not a destination location. It's simply a stay over spot for weary travelers or for local business.

An average hotel with a really nice hostess
This Residence Inn is a little old and could befit from some updating. Nothing was actually broken but just dated. The check-in process was fine and the room was clean.The real gem of the hotel is the hostess who serves the manager's evening snack. She is the nicest person and very eager to make sure you walk away happy. On my second night I arrived a little late and they had run out of desert. No problem, she walked over to the pantry next to the front desk and grabbed an ice cream from the freezer and offered it to me as my desert. I don;t think most employees at 5 star resorts would think of accommodating a guest like that. I was very impressed.I did need to commute to Boston for my meeting and that was not a fun commute but no fault of the hotel, of course. There is not much in the immediate area but there is a Costco and a FGI Friday's within walking distance.

Nice updated facility with excellent service.
We had a 2 Bedroom/BR loft with a nice kitchen, common living space and working fireplace. Service was prompt and courteous. Called down for ice and manager brought it up himself. Very nice restaurants nearby with easy access to highway. Approx 20 min from downtown Boston and 15 min from Salem MA
