4 stars?? really?
The hotel is not too bad but it's quite expensive for what you get. I understand that it's very central but quality/price ratio is just not right. Service is not great either, they do not speak proper english and they are not very accommodating with customers requests. Overall, if I would not be forced to go back because all the better options are not available I would not go back.

Nice hotel, great location
Was worried we may have a bad experience after reading some of the recent reviews. Hotel is located very near the canal. This area has a great choice of restaurants and Aperativo/ cocktail bars. Overall we were happy with our experience here and The bar in the hotel is a little disappointing as is set in the foyer. Reception staff were professional and helpful, although not particularly warm. We had requested a room with a balcony which Elvis had confirmed by e-mail. Unfortunately we didn't get one but we were more than happy with the room we got. Only niggle is that the mirror isn't near any plug socket so difficult to use hair straighteners and that only 2 small milk portions are provided each day for the coffee making facilities. there is one brittish plug socket in the room. Breakfast was ok. Big choice of continental style options. Basic cooked options. Hotel decor is nice. Think the hotel is value for money. Would book this hotel again purely for the area. Very close to metro stations which take you everywhere in Milan. I didn't find that the rooms smelled of smoke even although there was an ashtray in the room.

Great Breakfast, rooms so and so as well as the service.
All the rooms are for smoking and non smoking customers, so basically your room might be smelly. Don't try to ask for another room, you'll probably get the same answer that all rooms are the same. What was really impressive was the breakfast and the friendliness of the staff. For a moment I thought I was in the wrong hotel. Overall, best part is the breakfast with its variety and the service of the staff during breakfast, its location is not bad being within 30 minutes to the Duomo. Worst part is: room towels smelly, room smelly, reception not helpful. By the way don't dare to go for a drink at the bar after 23:00. The bar tender might want to kill you if you delay him going home. Parking costs 20 euro per day extra.

Brilliant Location
Terrific hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully decorated with a welcoming feel the minute you walk through the door.Breakfast so substantial that we had no need for lunches and saved our appetites for dinner at one of the many incredible restaurants in the Navigli area.Bedroom warm and inviting with tea/coffee facilities/mini bar and a gorgeous bathroom with complimentary slippers and toiletries.Perfectly situated close to a metro station and very quiet at night so the hotel's soundproofing is most effective.

Business as usual
Not an interesting area. Very cheesy, crowded near stations...if that matters. Far from the center. Rooms ok, small, clean. Internet access is lousy .they ask you to sign on every hour with a new password. A big pain. They do offer drinks in the lobby with lots of snacks before dinner...you could make the snacks your dinner if you didn't want to go out.I can say, the hotel is ok.nothing specialOh no business center, just one working PC and printer. Not for the professional traveling business person.
