good price, poor internet
Hotels in Berlin are generally not cheap. I was looking for a place near the airport to facilitate an early flight and didn't want to pay 150 euros for the closest. At 66 euros, this hotel fitted the bill. Staff tried to be helpful and the room was clean and very adequate when all I needed was a place to crash. 4.30 am wake-up call was very efficient. Wifi cost 9 euros extra and didn't work in my room. I ended up sitting in the hall with other guests who had the same problem. Wifi was good in the lobby but hoards of noisy guests made the experience difficult. Neither situation was good for private business Skype calls.taxi to the airport added another 10 euros.

If you love airplanes....
Hotel Is At the end of the Tegel's landing way so airplain contnuously fly above. But internally no noise Is catched.Room Is good even if sometimes position of amenities Is not so usefull. Hotel Is clean but the WC should be' washed better. No gadgets available ( only bath cream). Breakfast ok. Wifi Is not for free and absolutely not cheap

Decent hotel in an industrial area - somewhat overpriced
Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights because Best Western am Borsigturm, next to the plant we were visiting was not available. Hotel rooms look somewhat aged but are quite decent in size. Contrary to some of the earlier reports, the room and bath were very clean and made up each day. There is no tea / coffee making facility but my room had a microwave which came in useful to warm up bought out food. Breakfast is charged at EUR 8.00 which was reasonable for the large variety provided (my next hotel charged EUR 15.00 for the same breakfast). Hotel restaurant menu is very limited but there are several good good restaurants within short walking distance. As a business traveler who had to work on my computer for several hours a day I found the corner working table to be large and very useful. WiFi is charged at EUR 10.00 per day which along with the cost of breakfast makes this hotel a little overpriced compared to other hotels in the neighborhood. Hotel is right on the flightpath and, therefore, plane noise is unavoidable but it must be said that the windows are reasonably soundproof and the engine noise is heard only when the plane is directly overhead.

Fight cancelled, OK stopover hotel, need to know about it.....
Our flight was cancelled yesterday and we were placed in this hotel, 10 mins from Berlin Tegal airport. The good news is that the food was excellent, really varied menu, well presented and very good value for money. If you find yourself in the area, eat there. The not so good news was that the area itself is not worth a visit for tourism, that may be expected, but the hotel facilities are not magnificent. You need to ask for extra pillows, only one put in a double room, the room configuration is not good, you have to get out of bed to switch off lights and answer the phone and the heating pipes knocked in our room. However, forewarned is forearmed and make sure your room is OK, the food as I said above was really unexpectidly good.

Just enough for one night
This thing instead of pillow was rather fanny, until going to sleep...The restaurant not too good, but expensive for this, what they are serving...But staying for one night you don't have too much to demand.Clean bed and room.
