okay with limits
This hotel is handy to a central train station, located in a Turkish area of Berlin. It was an average hotel, rooms were okay, clean, and had all necessary amenities. But you have to pay for internet service for even 30 minutes up to 24 hours! Get with the program! That should be provided to guests for free in this day and age. Did have free USA Today newspapers though which was nice. Bit far from most tourist attractions so if you use taxis, it's expensive, but if you use metro it is okay.

Warm and comfortable stay
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, a warm and comfortable room, and a sauna to come home to after long walks through Berlin. What more could you need? Berlin Mitte is a fascinating area, and this hotel is well placed to explore monuments like Bernauer Strasse's Berlin Wall exhibition close by, and a tour of Berlin underground for those who are not claustrophobic. Gesundbrunnen station is minutes from the hotel so it is easy and inexpensive to get around once you work out the system.We found some good, warming food in local restaurants. Borik's Grill, Joris Cafe, and Lichtberg Cafe were our favourites, and were only a short walk from the hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my first trip to Berlin andwill definitely book this hotel again.

Good hotel
We stayed in this Holiday Inn in Berlin for the first time and enjoyed our stay a lot. Very friendly and helpful personnel, cosy rooms and a nice restaurant. I will definitelly stay here again when I come to Berlin for the next time...

Another Great Stay
We stayed here for a business meeting for the second time and again it was a great hotel. The service was very friendly, helpful and efficient. The gentleman on Reception was warm and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and has everything you need. It is very central in the Mitte area with transport links directly across the road. The holiday is great value for money.

blandly efficient and good value
I paid about 35 euro p/night for a single room without breakfast and this was really good value for a decent hotel in the city. It is only just on the edge of Mitte (central) and its in a quiet area, with a Turkish feel. The park opposite is very nice for a wander and the WW2 anti-aircraft gun turret on top of the hill is a great spot to visit, I kid you not. Good view of the city too.My room was fine in a bland business hotel way. Clean and comfortable, slightly dated. the restaurant/bar area is ok, but everso slightly canteen'ish; they could easily improve this area.I was offered buffet breakfast for 17.50 euro but it wasn't worth it as there are plenty of cafes near the hotel. Reception service was efficient and friendly.
