Modern hotel, big rooms
The hotel is 12 min walk from the shopping centers of West Berlin (KaDeWe etc), 7 minutes walk from U-Bahn. My room was renovated with nice modern decor, but had to do a lot of walking to reach it, since the hotel is huge.The room is big with a big closet and nice bathroom. The beds are rather small, though. One day, i put the 'dont disturb' sign, so the housekeeping didnt knock the door, but called me....! to ask me if i wanted my room cleaned.It was very kind of them but what is the use of the sign? The breakfast is excellent, all you can ask for is there!

"A nice modern hotel"
The facade of this hotel is not at all impressive but wait till you enter the lobby. It was quite impressive with its modern art deco style. Even the colors are bright and the furniture attractive. The breakfast has a wide selection but could get crowded. The room was big with comfortable beds. The dining staff seemed friendly enough but I was turned off by the night supervisor from the reception who accosted my son and very rudely told him not to refill his water bottle from the water dispenser in the hotel lobby. It happened late in the evening and I came back to the hotel even later so I was not able to investigate the matter. Other than this incident, I would love to return to this hotel. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the shopping area where the big mall - Kadewe is located.. There is also a nice affordable eat-all-you-can Japanese resto (Sakura) across the road from the hotel.

A very good choice
Nice hotel, great service, excellent location, small problem with the wifi which was unstable. The fast internet service was expensive but optional, the free was ok but slower and sometimes unresponsive

Nice hotel for business stay
This is a nice hotel, close enough to U-bahn. The rooms are spacious and clean. I stayed there for four nights in April 2013. Breakfast is good but expensive, I skipped it after the first morning, there's a small coffee/breakfast/lunch cafe across the street that does the trick if you into a sandwich and a cappucino.

Back to the seventies
Hotel Berlin Berlin is a huge, clean and modern hotel. It is just a couple of kilometers far from the Brandeburg Gate or Posdamer Platz and you can stroll through Tiergarten to reach themRooms are clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would need when traveling. The shower into my room was very big and modern. I found it odd that part of the wall shared between the bathroom and the bedroom was in transparent glass. I could not understand the reason for that.The newer part of the hotel is a celebration of the seventies. Graffiti on the walls both in the bedrooms and in the common areas are constantly reminding the guest of those years.Breakfast is very good, cable starndard speed internet access is free for all guests.
