A really nice place to stay - the staff is extremely friendly and informative. We had a great lunch at a "non-tourist" tapas bar on the recommendation of the front desk gal. The rooms are clean and well kept up. You are in walking distance of many attractions/restaurants & shops - and if you don't want to walk - buses and taxis are readily available. The breakfast buffet that is included is awesome!! - you cannot go away hungry - so many selections!! - very clean and plates are constantly being refilled. I see that some people say the rooms are small - hey - I'm only there to sleep - I want to see the sights!

Perfect location when in Barcelona
Stayed at the hotel during our stay in Barcelona. The hotel is perfect located near the city and close to the airport buses and metro. Friendly staff and great beds. We got a room with a small balcony and we could hear the traffic when windows were closed but it didn't bother us. During night there were not so much traffic. The breakfast was ok. They had yoghurt, cereals, bread, jam, ham, cheese, different juices, fresh fruit and coffee/tea.Will stay here next time I visit the city.

Hotel
I have stayed in an H10 Hotel before ,in London . Although the staff and reception were still as friendly and the reception just as welcoming .As I had taken relatives to this hotel I was a little bit disappointed on the size of the rooms which was a little on the small size.However the Shower area was still as large ,The location was fantastic .The usual standard of excellence in cleanliness.

Small room - huge bathroom!
We stayed at H10 Universitat in Barcelona last weekend for our first anniversary. The location is perfect and the hotel was really nice. The room was small and had an interior view - a grim courtyard - but we expected that since we went for the Basic Room and didn't really mind as it was really only a place to sleep. It was made alot smaller by a very large bathroom. I think I would have preferred a bit more space in the room itself but overall, we were happy with our stay. The hotel was very clean, modern and everything was in good condition. I would have liked to pay a little less for the room given its size but everything else was excellent.

Great location, lovely staff
I tried to pick close to Ramblas and we got lucky with this choice. The H10 Universitat Hotel sits very close to Placa de Catalunya and turned out to be better situated than I thought (first time in Barcelona). The hotel was clean, decent sized rooms, all the staff were polite and very helpful. The hotel has a bar on the ground floor (typical hotel bar) and it has a roof bar or the 9th floor open from 2 until 9 - this we all loved. There are many hotels to choose from in and around area but this one I'd certainly consider again.
