excellent value
Booked through Holiday Extras as undercover hotel, only ¿¿70 pound for hotel and 15 days parking(bargain).Parking was behind the hotel and car was there when i returned.Hotel is large and has good size rooms.Restaurant was nice and not to expensive, children not allowed in bar area(but no signs to say this) will stay again if i can get for same price, only down side was cost of bus to airport ¿¿3 each way so for family of 3-4 is cheaper to get Taxi.Also charged ¿¿10 for extra day parking as over 15 days when you add the night in Hotel!!!!(Most airport hotels add this!)

No free wifi
The hotel itself is ok ...average rooms ....the restaurant food was absolutely delicious ..... Friendly and professional staff......so why am I only giving it a average rating??? YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR WIFI ..... This is absurd to me. Something's should be included and I feel this should definitely be one of the perks. And even worse .... The price they charge you for wifi. $5 for one hour ( and it is continuous ). Yes they have package deals but they are pricy. For tis reason alone I will never use this hotel again.

Good hotel for early next day flight
Booked this hotel including a weeks parking as had a early flight the next day to France.Hotel is very large, service is good and check in was very efficient. Room was a good size with a large double bed (not quite a king size, but bigger than normal double) and air conditioning. Bathroom was also very clean and looked like been refurbished recently. Would have probably given 4 stars, however during the night the air conditioning appeared to have been turned off centrally and would not work past 12am therefore room was very warm. Some people will like this, but we would preferred or have a bit more of an even temperature. Overall a good hotel if need to stay over for a flight and you can not argue with the value for money when including parking. Carparking - note of caution, the hotel car park is extremely tight around the back of the hotel where you leave your car. Any spare space / piece of grass / dead area has cars haphazardly parked very tightly together as there appears to be no separate long term section for cars to be moved to. If you are very precious about your car you might want to consider the proper large car parks like Air parks or Summer special parking where they are parked in a more suitable way. Also there is a hotel disclaimer noting there is no liability for any damage caused when being parked which you have to sign. Note that most of the larger car parks will appraise the car before parking therefore easy to note if any damage done while there (and then making a repair claim). We have a company car so we were not too fussed!

Good value, would stay again
I stayed here the night before travelling out of Gatwick and had a hotel-parking deal whilst I was away.The service was quick and efficient and I had no problems at check-in. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable too. The bathroom was also clean and the shower was sufficient.I didn't use the bar or restaurant but they looked nice as I walked past.When I returned from my trip, I arrived back at the hotel to collect my car keys which was a quick and easy process. My car was dirtier than when it arrived though, as it was parked in a dusty car park! I don't really mind this too much, but some people might.I wouldn't have a problem staying here again, but it would only be for a pre-trip overnight stay.

Good Value for Hotel plus Parking
We decided to stay at this Holiday Inn because it offered very good value for its deal for parking plus an overnight stay. It was very good in all respects; a friendly and efficient reception, an immaculate (and entirely typical Holiday Inn) room. The breakfast was also excellent, but pricey. That is my main criticism: you pay a lot extra for breakfast, but we tend only want to have a light continental breakfast, and there is no option to do this in the dining room - it's all or nothing. You also have to pay extra for the shuttle to and from the airport, so it turned out to be not such good value after all. Nevertheless, we would use this hotel again if flying from Gatwick.
