Great Location
We booked this hotel because of its location in Times Square & the room price. We had a brief stopover in NY arriving 12mn leaving 4pm. This is a strangely decorated hotel!! The reception & bar area reminded me of Alice in Wonderland! We had a large room with seating area (room 1214) & the biggest bathroom we have ever had in NY!! The beds were comfortable & the room was clean (there was only shampoo & a small soap but there was a sign to say you could ask for toiletries if needed). We found all the staff friendly but there is definitely something lacking with this hotel. If like us you are just looking for somewhere to sleep & the price is right fine otherwise I agree with other reviewers its not the most inviting place. I can however recommend the Irish Bar Hurley's next door which is open till 2am. In the few hours we were in NY we walked the High Line, visited The Chelsea Market & had a drink in the roof top bar of the Celtic Playwright in Times Square on the corner of 45th & 8th Streets all of which I can recommend especially The Highline.

Awesome location very average hotel
My husbands first words when we got to our floor was "it looks like a brothel". For a hotel that is apparently newly renovated it surely didn't feel like it. It had a strange smell. We were in a double room and it literally was a double bed with a very very small bathroom. It was in a great location only 1 minute walk to times square. If you just want somewhere to sleep this hotel is great, but oyherwise it wasn't the most inviting place

The worst Western?
What can I say...- Great location next to all touristic attraction, - stylish pink lobby bar with cheap drinks,- reasonable price for a room AGAINST- claustrophobic room size- loud doors- screaming to each other maids from one to another end of the floor- rusty taps, falling of the wall paint, old (thx God that clean at least) linens.- carpets that never been hovered - broken room safeDid I mentioned an used condom and empty cans I have accidentally found under the bed?? :-oAVOID it!

If i could give this hotel 0 stars i would
First of all... the hotel is ideal position for new york and if you plan on just sightseeing all day and not expecting anything from a hotel then go here.However the rooms were all old and shabby me and my wife and her parents both had to move rooms twice due to numerous faults... faulty air con, safes broken, shower broken. Their policy seems to be to move you on and put someone else there rather than solve or fix the problems.We stayed there for 4 nights and it was all paid for in full before we arrived. When we checked out we were told there were no extra charges to be taken however on returning from the usa i have a credit card charge from them for ¿¿640 ... this is now with my credit card company who are reimbursing me hopefully while they take it up with the hotel!!! In my eyes this is theft from the hotel... do not go here!!!

Was really good experince
I went there for tow days. The cost was reasonable and service was really good. Rooms were nice and clean.. The service was fine and people were really friendly and helpful..The location of the hotel is in the heart of times square which is a very nice place to be in....
