Exemplary hospitality
Crowfield House stands out as one of, if not THE best, boutique accommodation experience in my 40 plus years of traveling around the world. As a three letting room "B & B" (although this term does not do it justice) it obviously does not offer the recreation or dining facilities of the major hotels, however, what it lacks in size and frills it more than makes up for in the extremely high quality of every important aspect of hospitality accommodation. From the friendly welcome on arrival to being waved off on departure, our hosts were the epitome of graciousness. The quality of the building finish, the furnishings and the little touches were an example to others as to how it should be done. Although not huge, the bedroom was of ample size and beautifully decorated and furnished as was the guest's lounge area adjacent to our room. and the breakfast room nearby. Everything was spotlessly clean and was indicative of the host's extremely high standards honed through 35 years plus in the hospitality industry. It was obvious that the hosts take great pride in what they do and genuinely enjoy hosting paying guests in their wonderful home. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt pampered and welcomed as individuals in contrast to the usual impersonal and robotic reception at larger establishments. The breakfast choices and quality were another source of enjoyment and capped off a thoroughly pleasurable stay. Should we ever visit the area again, Crowfield House would be our accommodation of choice and we heartily commend it to other travellers who value quality and service over fripperies.

So Special - Diane & Billy
Just like to say how much we enjoyed staying here. Sam and Pat made us feel very welcome. We miss the place already. We weren't sure what to expect but were very much pleasantly surprised. Everything was done to perfection. The decor was first class, the setting was heaven and the food was great. We were able to chill out and relax, go exploring and come back to first class comfort after our days out in the beautiful countryside and enjoy the coast. Parts of the Sperrins were still covered in snow but this just made it all the more special. We will certainly be recommending Crowfield House.

First Class B&B
We've never stopped at a B&B before and perhaps were a little apprehensive as to what to expect. From the moment you pull into the drive, and step onto the front porch, you know that Crowfield House is somewhere special. Everywhere you look, the quality and finish of d¿¿cor were of the highest standards. The proprietors Jim and Patricia met us with beaming smiles. They have been in the hospitality industry for many years and simply put, you could tell. The communal areas were welcoming and spotlessly clean. Rooms were 5* hotel standard with bath robes, soft towels and everything you¿¿¿d expect at the very best hotel. Outside, a slow running stream wanders past the rear of the property with stunning scenery all around. Breakfast choice was extensive and nothing was any trouble. Would we recommend to our family and friends or stay here again, yes we would. If you want first class accommodation, freshly home cooked food and hosts that make you feel part of the family, Crowfield House will be for you.

Very enjoyable luxury
My wife and I stayed one night at this B&B recently and would recommend it. The location is about 10 minutes drive from Coleraine and less than half an hour from main attractions on the coast road. It is easily found from the signpost on the main road which runs alongside the Bann river. When we arrived we had afternoon tea with home cooked pastries out on the patio at the back of the house where there is another river running along the back of the garden, very relaxing. The house is beautiful, and is designed as a B&B. Our double room was on the ground floor and had a patio door to the back garden. It was bight, spacious and very clean. Sam, our host, has lots of experience in the hospitality business and was very friendly. Sam offered us breakfast at any time we chose. With 2 guest rooms in the house we really feel we got great personal attention.Breakfast was very good. in addition to cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast selection we were offered a menu of food choices. I was delighted to be able to choose smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, while my wife had more traditional bacon and sausages.I would definitely recommend this as a top quality B&B or a very relaxing alternative to the hotels on the coast.

Quelle Surprise
This year - 2012 - we decided to have a trip to Ireland instead of our usual trip to France/Spain etc. Being pensioners with severely diminished appetites we requested smaller more basic meals as we had settled for half board. Right from the initial contact we had nothing but friendly, very helpful advice. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome, even though we were dripping wet as we were travelling on our sidecar outfit. From there on things just went from great to better still, days of pleasant surprises. Our en-suite room was absolutely perfect, very roomy and beautifully laid out. No need to use the facilities in the room as Sam and Patricia had the kettle on and soon had us settled in their comfortable lounge with a welcoming coffee and delicious home-made scones.Dinner - Quelle surprise. We were sitting in the dining room admiring the garden when Sam came through with our "simple" meal. Simply amazing doesn`t do it justice. We could have been sitting anywhere in France in a five star hotel enjoying a meal prepared by a top French chef. Then came the next surprise - Sam and Patricia are actually French trained chefs, over and above the culinary skills they had already garnered. What a week we had there, and we ARE GOING BACK FOR MORE. This is one place NOT to be missed if you are visiting the Coleraine area of Northern Ireland. We could fill a page and more describing the delights of our stay at Crowfield House. Go on spoil yourselves and have a break with Sam and Patricia.
